Any other moms

I hope you receive this gently, but when you decide to have a child or grow your family in general, even though it takes a village to support that child it is ultimately is your responsibility to get the necessary items for them. If others help that’s awesome but most people are all talk and no action. I ran into the same issue with my first child and ultimately bought all of the necessary items he needed ourselves. And then save everything for my next child. It’s not always like that I know a lot of families who help a lot but at the end of the day if you want something done right you’ll have to do it yourself.

My sister in law had a baby shower, everyone went and got her so much stuff. Then my mother in law helped her with her nursery. No one helped with ours. Family who got her stuff, didn't get us anything nor have asked about my pregnancy. We have sent our registry out and we have had some people buy things, but really it was mainly just us. Thats why I started buying things months ago and just slowly was buying things bc I was worried we would scram at the end. Im grateful for the people who have given/bought us things etc. But you still have time and maybe people will come around and get something! And if they dont, then thats okay too! Its okay to want help and people buying things to help you prepare for the baby feels like you have support and that people care.
