Baby bottles for wind

I’m using mam bottles but I’m unsure how good they actually are when it comes to wind. My daughters trapped wind is awful and I’m worried the bottles aren’t helping

We use the Tommee tippiee bottles, the anti colic ones seem to be good, we’ve also been using infocol to help get her wind up

I used Tommee Tippee to begin with, anti colic glass bottles, with a number 1 teat. My baby, guzzled it, he was then gassy and refused to burp and would either be sick or have a lot of spit up. I changed to MAM glass bottles with a 1 teat and he’s been a lot better. I also use infacol before every feed, which has helped with his gas a lot.

I was using MAM and tommee tippee but I have found the Dr Brown is brilliant. He doesn’t bring much of and he can really get his wind up

I use the mam bottles for my boy and he’s fine with wind, I think it really does just depend on the baby x

With the MAM bottles, have you twisted the bottom? If you unscrew the bottom slightly then it’ll allow the air to go out the holes xx

We use DR Browns narrow neck bottles are great for this. Have a special vent system. P teat for super slow flow or 1 teat.

We've been struggling with trapped wind too, and hes been inconsolable some evenings.. we use mam bottles with teat 1..

We also use a perfect prep machine and realised today that thats been contributing to it, ive been making his bottles via kettle today, and also notice if I give him a ready made bottle he doesn't get so uncomfortable..

Might be worth thinking about if you use a prep machine too xx

We are using mam bottles with lansinoh teats, my little one gets a better latch with these teats over the mam ones which reduces the amount of air swallowed. Was the same with my 4 year old when she was a baby - we didn't find any of the drops helped her it was purely down to the teat for us 🤷‍♀️
