I started weaning my 21 month old son, and we’re now entering the second week of the process!
When I asked for advice before, someone suggested gradually weaning over about 7 weeks, and so far it has been going really well. During the first week, we stopped nursing out of boredom during the day, and my son has adjusted surprisingly well. I’m really happy and feeling hopeful about our progress!
Next week, we’re planning to stop nursing to sleep for his daytime nap, and I’m a little nervous about breaking the nursing to sleep association.
For those of you who have been through this, how did you break the connection between nursing and sleep? What worked best for you without causing too much crying or stress for your little one?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences and any gentle methods that worked for you. 🤍

Am I the only one covered in mosquitoes bites? I lived in London for many years and never had that many bites before. Now it’s looks just as bad as when I used to live in a tropical country.
Are there any effective mosquito repellents I can buy in the Uk?

Is anyone else the other side of the 4 month regression? Looking for some light at the end of the tunnel! I genuinely don’t know how much more I can take hourly/45 minutes waking and my partner works 13 hour days and no family to come over so I can rest at all :( my LO also has terrible reflux which makes settling him to bed a long process too. I feel so sad and exhausted all the time and just want to run away!
