Hungry baby

So I keep reading about everyone dropping milk bottles and increasing food intake but my girl is still on 4x 250ml bottles. She also has bfast and dinner, light lunch (more of a snack tbh). She doesn't eat the full portion but boy i better not mess about with her milk. The only thing we seem to be "behind"is water intake as she still spits most of it out. She drinks milk roughly every 4-5hrs during the day (none at night) and has her meals/snacks around 2hrs after the milk. Any suggestions on what to improve? She drinks 1liter of milk per day. Is that not too excessive?

My 9 month old still has a 7oz bottle every 3 hours as well as 3 meals a day. (Hes not over weight) hes just very hungry. Only stopped needing milk in the night.

She's probably calorie storing for that night stretches where she doesn't have any milk. I wouldn't worry too much. Keep offering water with meals. She'll work it out

My baby is similar and the HV told me she should be having 600ml per day. We're still on 4 bottles but have reduced them except the evening one. Now 7oz first thing and afternoon and 6oz in the morning. She is eating more since doing that. We will gradually work towards dropping the morning one but not rushing. Also sleeps through

My little boy's routine is similar to your little girl

Breakfast, snacky lunch and a dinner, with 4x 7/8oz bottles throughout the day and sleeps through the night

No intention of cutting out a bottle yet. I'd rather he has more now as under 1yo their main source of nutrition is their milk anyway! Food is exploratory (although my little boy would say otherwise as he is a little foodie!) And he will only drink cold bottled water from the fridge 🤷🏼‍♀️ but that works for me as its how I have mine and he also drinks from the actual bottle so no need to remember to bring him an extra cup 😅
