I’m currently 36+5 and have been in 4 times so far with reduced movements. I have low PAPP-A so have been advised to keep an eye on movements but now that I’m getting closer to term I’m worried about being induced. This is my second baby and with my first I went naturally at 39 weeks, so an induction scares me! Obviously I want what’s best for the baby but I feel like I’m talking myself out of going into triage again just incase they suggest an induction! Has anyone else experienced an induction due to reduced movements?

I ended up getting induced because of reduceded movements. I didn’t have low Papp-a.

For myself personally, I was induced after several different occasions of reduced movements, but my low blood pressure was also taken into account, which we ultimately decided meant it was a good time to get little one out.
I got induced and still managed to have my unmedicated birth, which I was told wouldn’t be possible… yet I did! 😂
It’s completely okay to be nervous. Having a plan that suddenly feels like it’s going out the window is terrifying, but I promise you’ve got this girl <3 ❤️
Any questions please ask xx

My midwife told me after 38 weeks if you go in twice for reduced movements a few days apart they will offer you an induction, they offer it but you don’t have to accept x

Not for the same reason but I had an emergency induction with my second at 39 weeks and it went great, I was even at 0cm when I got the balloon. I was terrified to get an induction too, but I know it was the right decision for my baby's safety. I had balloon placed around midnight and went home, it fell out around 10am. I got called in and had my water broken around 6:30pm, baby arrived at 11pm with no hormone drip and pushing through 3 contractions. It was also nice to know it was the day I was going to the hospital, it gave me time to get my 2.5 year old settled in at grandma's, take a shower and lay down in bed for a bit while I waited to get called in. In the end trust your instincts and do what you think is best for your baby and you

Depends on the reason. Sometimes induction isn’t safe if baby is distressed and having reduced movements they’d actually c-section you in some circumstances. X

Oh 100% of course! My LO was absolutely fine throughout the induction process and I still managed to have the unmedicated birth I’d hoped for. When I was brought down for delivery, unfortunately things didn’t go quite to plan, but I’ve since been reassured by several medical professionals that this wasn’t down to the induction. ❤️ I think even with the most straightforward, natural birth, things can sometimes change very quickly and an emergency C section can become necessary, but that obviously doesn’t mean it will happen. I definitely wouldn’t want to scare you away from going into triage or getting checked when you’re worried about movements. They’d much rather you go in and have everything checked than sit at home worrying. Every birth and every situation is different, so try not to let other people’s experiences scare you too much. ❤️

Have you noticed these reduced movements after a certain time. Because it could just be apart of their schedule

It’s ok to be induced! Don’t be frightened! I was induced with my first due to preeclampsia and choleostasis at 37+5. I had my daughter naturally this year at 38+6. Induction was way less chaotic and calm! For my daughter my water broke as I was making dinner in the kitchen! My babies had a movement pattern. They moved more when I was still and calm and mainly at night. I worked during my first pregnancy and around lunchtime I’d feel him and then nothing after that until about 2 or 3. Learn your baby’s patterns

I had low PAPP-A and was induced with my second baby, as I had a few episodes of reduced movements too!x

My baby is 6.5 months and I still have her facing towards me as I get worried about turning her facing out - what if the sun is shining on her and I don’t notice, what if a dog comes up to her etc. Find it hard to make the adjustment - any advice would be appreciated x

I'll post pictures below so no one is lost. I ended my period September 5th I don't start my next period until the 30th. I went to the bathroom not long ago and I'm having slight cramps and light bleeding. 1. Either trapped blood or 2. I'm pregnant again.
My daughter is only 13 months old and me and my bf have only been together for 3 months and 4 days. Yes we use protection there was one time when he didn't have the money for any protection so that's what has me overthinking the most right now. I'm not sure what to do.

Does anyone else's nausea/sickness get worse when on the computer? I think it's the combination of the screen and the movement/swivel from my office chair.
Just interested to know if anyone else has had this!?
