My baby just turned a month and she woke up from a nap today with her right eye just covered in eye mucus. Is there anything I can give her or anything I can do to help her?

Just curious, did she get the eye ointment at birth?

Probably clogged tear duct . Super common at that age . It usually clears itself but you can always just call the dr and ask to be sure.

Could be a side effect! Ask your doctor asap!

I would say first aid is warm soft compress cloth

But at same time I would call the pediatrician for safe side

My son had mucus on his eye and had the eye ointment at birth and the dr gave him eye ointment for an eye infection

You can put breast milk in it. I do that for my newborn who has a clogged tear duct. Our pediatrician said if it gets gunky all across the eye vs just the corner then get it checked . Otherwise it goes away on its own before their first bday

I also use breast milk on baby eyes. I have a two week old that had some gunk going on and it’s cleared up already. My first born the same. If you’re not breastfeeding, a cotton ball with warm water to wipe away the gunk from the inner corner out. If it’s dried or crusty and not able to be wiped a warm compress like someone else mentioned. If you are worried always check in with your pediatrician ❤️
So my husband and I are moving from an 3 bedroom 1 &1/2 bath apartment to a 5 bedroom 1bath house.
Well there is 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms down stairs with 1 bathroom. The house is kinda small. We have to cool with window units and heat by gas but the upstairs doesn’t have a heat source I have 2 boys and 2 girls this house would give them their own rooms but my husband is so negative. He wants them sharing rooms. But yet I’m home 24/7 with the kids he works night shift and I feel like I don’t get a say.
Also I want to get rid of my daughter’s bunk bed and get them separate beds and he doesn’t want to do that.
We are currently in our 3 bed and my kids are all in separate rooms. My youngest is in our bed my oldest daughter is in her bed and my boys are separated ones in their room the other is in the living room.
My kids are ages 9,8,7,5 I feel like my boys need their own room my daughters need to be separated also they fight constantly
Am I in the wrong for being upset

Just curious, who all swaddles their babies and if so why or why not?
Me and my partner don't we never have and honestly think our LO hates being restricted anyway!😆

Does anyone else not feel as attracted to their partner after birth, I’m 10 weeks PP, I love my husband very much but everything he does bothers me, I don’t want him to touch me, not ready to be intimate of course but like I just feel were co-existing together. Please tell me the feeling comes back, I don’t want to feel like this forever.

So it’s 6.35am and baby has slept through the night so obviously I have been waking every 30 mins panicking that somethings wrong and now wondering if I should wake him up. 🤣
He is EBF so my boobs are massive and leaking everywhere but yet the little prince keeps on sleeping. 😴
I really want to go back to sleep but I just know he will wake up the second I get comfy and start to drift off. 😩
Bloody kids!! 🤷🏼♀️🙈

Ever since i started my breastfeeding journey with my second child i feel like the only place i can be comfortable is in my own home whenever I’m out and alone i get weird looks although i wear a cover or put a blanket and even around my family i know its not there business but its a feeling of overwhelming discomfort of leaving the house with him because i am exclusively breastfeeding so he needs it when he needs it and he can get really unsettled if i try and wait but does anyone else feel like this or am i having a insecurity issue

Any nappy recs advice for nappy leaks at night? My 7 month old has just started consistently leaking, I’ve sized up in nappies and tried Aldi and rascals but no luck.
Has anyone had better results with pull ups? He’s just big enough now I think but I wasn’t sure if Aldi pull ups are any good?
