People being against breastfeeding

Ever since i started my breastfeeding journey with my second child i feel like the only place i can be comfortable is in my own home whenever I’m out and alone i get weird looks although i wear a cover or put a blanket and even around my family i know its not there business but its a feeling of overwhelming discomfort of leaving the house with him because i am exclusively breastfeeding so he needs it when he needs it and he can get really unsettled if i try and wait but does anyone else feel like this or am i having a insecurity issue

With my first, I always was prepared for a comment and a retort to give back if anybody looked at me or made a comment. I fed him for 27 months (not really out and about when he was bigger, but if he wanted it I would feed him) and in all that time there was only 1 uncomfortable time!
Building your confidence in places that you can be more comfortable is my biggest advice. I went to a breastfeeding group with my first and that really helped to be with other breastfeeding mums, see if you have anything local. Or M&S cafe I’ve always found good as the staff are so kind and supportive. Plus old women love to have a chat and always tell me well done 😂
If you’re more comfortable covering, maybe look at specific breastfeeding covers rather than a blanket as they might be better if your son gets fussy as I think they’re more lightweight

I totally get this, please know that your feelings are valid! However, breastfeeding is natural and you're doing an incredible thing.

This is my second baby and I breastfed both in public, with my first I expected some horrible comments but I never got any, only nice ones about the baby / how great it is that I'm feeding in public. I agree with what Emily says above, take it slow and steady to begin with, maybe just at baby groups where there'll be other mums feeding and build up from there. If you're worried about feeding somewhere specific, take someone with you who you feel comfortable with like your mum, partner, friend etc as they'll distract you.

I also find that I feel more comfortable in certain clothes (ones with little breastfeeding holes for example, Jo Jo Maman Baby do some lovely dresses for this that you can pick up cheaply on Vinted) as I'm not exposing my whole boob to the world! So maybe do a bit of trial and error with clothing too.

You've got this 👏🏻

Need advice!!

Posting as incognito as I don’t want to feel judged! I’ve tried getting hold of my health visitor but she never answers the phone.

My little boy is 13 weeks old and is breast fed, he won’t take to dummies or anything like that.

Since around maybe 11 weeks he has point blank refused to sleep in his next to me (he’s not been too much of a fan sleeping by himself in his own bed since birth but would sleep in there for a good 5 hours) at night time so for 2 weeks I’ve only been able to get him to sleep in bed next to me on the boob, now he also has not been able to sleep without boob in his mouth and if I move an inch or even go for a wee he kicks off immediately (he just wants to be on my boob throughout the whole night) nothing myself or my partner has tried has worked, I’ve tried pumping and giving him a bottle before bed but that made everything 10x worse to the point he refused to sleep for 4 hours. I’ve even tried leaving the room so my partner can try patting him off/ cuddling him but my boy screams to the top of his lungs until I come back and then he’s fine. He also sleeps absolutely fine during his naps too with the occasional fighting his nap time.

He’s had a sleep regression at 12 weeks and is now out of that sleep regression and is also teething but I just genuinely don’t understand why he’s is like this now! I honestly feel like a prisoner in/ tied down to my own bed at night and I’m also starting to dread bed time as I’m not getting a full nights sleep from where he’s stirring looking for my boob constantly/ looking to make sure I’m still there and where my body won’t let me be in a deep sleep where he’s sleeping next to me.

It’s genuinely getting to the point where I’m feeling down and emotional all the time and where I’m not sleeping properly I’m a lot more snappy with my partner/ others than usual.

So we are moving

So my husband and I are moving from an 3 bedroom 1 &1/2 bath apartment to a 5 bedroom 1bath house.
Well there is 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms down stairs with 1 bathroom. The house is kinda small. We have to cool with window units and heat by gas but the upstairs doesn’t have a heat source I have 2 boys and 2 girls this house would give them their own rooms but my husband is so negative. He wants them sharing rooms. But yet I’m home 24/7 with the kids he works night shift and I feel like I don’t get a say.

Also I want to get rid of my daughter’s bunk bed and get them separate beds and he doesn’t want to do that.

We are currently in our 3 bed and my kids are all in separate rooms. My youngest is in our bed my oldest daughter is in her bed and my boys are separated ones in their room the other is in the living room.

My kids are ages 9,8,7,5 I feel like my boys need their own room my daughters need to be separated also they fight constantly

Am I in the wrong for being upset

Sex postpartum

I’m only 2 weeks postpartum and all I want is my man! It’s actually awful having to wait so long! He doesn’t want to take any risks either even though the NHS advice these days is “whenever you feel ready” but he’s struggling to wait for 6 weeks too.
We’re gonna wait because it’s the safest thing to do but damn, it feels longer than the wait for the baby to be born 😩😂

Partner

Does anyone else not feel as attracted to their partner after birth, I’m 10 weeks PP, I love my husband very much but everything he does bothers me, I don’t want him to touch me, not ready to be intimate of course but like I just feel were co-existing together. Please tell me the feeling comes back, I don’t want to feel like this forever.
