Labor prep

Hi, I’m 30 weeks today with my first baby. As my due date slowly creeps around the corner I’m starting to have lots of anxiety about labor. What are things I can do to prep and ease my anxiety. I don’t do well with pain or feeling sick so those are my bigger concerns

Hey girlie, practice controlled deep breathing, inhale deeply when that contraction hits exhale slowly. Don’t let what you’ve heard get to you. Labor for me was great. No epidural, no pain meds and girl was I stressed ouuuut before labor. Everybody is different

How are people relaxing

So I had a midwife appointment today and she told me off for slouching when I was waiting in the waiting room which I know doesn’t help with baby’s engagement however how else am I supposed to relax, sitting upwards forward and open isn’t comfortable all day and I keep finding myself going back to bed to lay down. I’m only 34 weeks and this is my third baby - my second didn’t even engage until birth! Any tips or advice to help babys engagement but also relax and be comfortable

Feeling alone

My partner is great, but he doesn’t show as much concern about when she’s sick or has a vaccine etc. He’s only ever saying she’s fine, she’ll be fine stop worrying.

I don’t think he realises how much I worry as a ftm just because I’m attached to her and quite obsessed with her coz she so damn cute 😂 and I’m the primary parent in the sense that I’m with her 24/7 while he goes to work.

I feel like it’s wrong for me to worry somehow like I’m being dramatic and it’s really isolating sometimes because I’m just told it’s nothing stop worrying. When I tell him how I feel that I’m scared to go for her vaccinations or I’m worried about her getting sick or something happens I feel like he diminishes it.

Can anyone relate?
