You treat them as any other person. Their financial status has no bearing on your life, they are merely at your home to attend your child’s birthday party.

If they are snobbish cunts and make snidely comments on your home, you know to avoid them in future. To be fair, most folk are decent and would opt instead to praise how nice your home is.

Stop overthinking things and stressing. We are our own worst critics. I’m sure your home is lovely.

Don’t worry about it. It’s about the kids having fun which I’m sure they will! I’m sure no one will even notice, this is likely your own insecurities. Your doing great mom

Funny story: I threw my daughter a 3 family get together at my house for her birthday. Thinking nothing of it because that was the only 3 friends her age she played with. 2 months later one of the girls that came invited us to her party. It was freaking huge!!! So many people most not even near the kids age. And so much food and gifts. It felt a little overwhelming to me. And I really enjoyed our humble party better! All that to say: small parties are the BEST! In my opinion anyways, that might just be my introvert showing though.

I've always done small parties, the children loke it more, games amd just playing together, kids getting to be kids is the best party.
