Ultrasound question
Hi everyone.
Has anyone else had this experience? I had my ultrasound yesterday at 20 weeks, and I was reading through my visit summary afterward. It says: “There appears to be a left ventricular focus consistent with papillary muscle calcification. This isolated anatomic finding is consistent with a benign condition.” Of course, I started worrying after reading it 😭. Has anyone else had this mentioned on their ultrasound? Did your doctor say it was nothing to be concerned about? I’m so worried I was also told that the baby is curled up bleach position 😭

It hasn’t happened to me, but the finding is noted as being benign, aka not problematic. It just means that you have calcium deposits that have built up — if the deposits were extensive and cause for concern, they would probably be referring you out to a specialist.
If your baby is breech at 20 weeks they still have plenty of time to turn, so it’s also not cause for concern ☺️
At 20 weeks breach isn't a concern. Lots of time to flip around and trust me they will. Calcification was a bright area seen. They will likely re scan if they think there's an issues or to re check

Private scan
Has anyone else paid for a scan and not been able to see baby’s face? My partner feels like it was a waste of money I see where he’s coming from but I’m just glad I got to hear baby’s heart beat and seeing the baby moving. What would you do?

Toddlers are something else 😭🤣
I’m just sitting here minding my own business at 8 months pregnant and my toddler comes up to me and says “who got you pregnant”!!!
I looked at her like “what” and she repeated herself so I said “her daddy”! So she said “why did my daddy get you pregnant” 😳
So I said “I don’t know”! She says “it’s fine I will call him and ask him”…. She grabs my phone calls her dad who’s at work and he was sounded mortified, when she said “why did you get my mummy pregnant”! I couldn’t fully remember what he said because I couldn’t stop laughing!!! Nothing can prepare you to be a parent to a toddler!! 😭😂

Tips to induce labour
Im 40 weeks on Sunday and have a C-section booked for Tuesday. I don’t want the section but because of previous C-section due to preemie baby I’m not allowed to be induced - either by body goes into labour naturally or C-section :( - I have a needy toddler at home so would prefer natural in terms of recovery!
Please give me all your tips 🙏🏼
