Would you go abroad with a 10 week old baby? She's had her immunisations at 8 weeks.

Super easy age to travel š

I took my older daughter away for a week when she was 9 weeks old. It was the easiest flight with a child I have ever had! Definitely donāt let the age put you in off, a flight with children will never be so easy as they donāt want to be running around at that age. Just try and feed them during take off and landing to ease any pressure on their ears.
I on the other hand wonāt be going on a plane until my baby this time is 10 months old, this will be a difficult age for flying as he may be crawling at that point and wonāt understand when I tell him to sit down šš¤¦āāļø xx
Would love to hear any thoughts on this. Those that have said yes, are you not worried about the risk of for example measles depending on where you're going? The baby is so young at 10 weeks. Obviously this is a personal choice and there's no clear guidance on this as babies are cleared to fly at 2 weeks
The risk is higher in certain countries so the probability of contracting something is higher x

Yes, so easy! I was on a plane to Australia with a 9 week old.
She slept most of the way, absolute dream. No sickness.
Babies are just as likely to get measles here in London! My youngest went on his first flight about 11 weeks old but his sister was a daycare kid so he could have gotten germs off her.
Both kids have been travelling on planes about once a month since they were newborns, both are vaccinated and both have totally normal strong immune systems. My eldest got Covid at home when 3 months old and just shrugged it off and infected US š¤£

I think it depends on the baby tbh. I wouldāve but not with my baby. She was a really hard newborn and it was tough for me
What products and types of Medicine do people recommended ,my little boy is 6 weeks so I know itās to early but I want to be prepared and have what I need in now for the winter season so I donāt have to then sort it at the time ,anything people recommend for colds ,teething etc

I know routines are hard at this age but does anyone have somewhat of a structure to their day with their LO? I. E when does LO nap and for how long and when do they go to sleep.
My LO is a bad sleeper with multiple wake ups during the night. Iām really deliberating whether itās because of the naps heās having during the day. I usually allow him to have one long contact nap in the morning (to make sure heās not groggy for the rest of the day) his other naps are usually short and I put him down for them. I also like to hold him for his last nap so heās not overtired and I can put him down for bedtime easier. He falls asleep anywhere between 7-8:30pm depending on how the day has gone.
Any tips / advice would be v helpful!

My almost 4 week old doesnāt go down to sleep until 10:30-11pm, she has a few wakes which is fine, but the last block somehow killās me off. Her last wake is around 5:30/6am ish and it seems to take me the longest to settle her back to sleep at this hour and by the time Iāve finished my 3.5 year old is ready to talk my ear off at 7am prompt and ofc needs personal care and breakfast.
Iāve been able to rest as luckily my partner is still on leave, but I am anxiously anticipating his return to work and donāt know how Iāll do it!! 3 days of the week we will have to be out the door to the childminder, but the rest of the 4 heās home with meš¬.
How are we getting through the mornings/days with our eldest whilst sleep deprived?!
Any tips are welcome

Checking if your babies who are going through sleep regression also waking up before their usual time in the morning (apart from multiple wakings through the night). My LO used to sleep so well from 9 PM to 9 AM with one tiny feed at around 4/5 am. This bedtime works very well for our family. Now that the regression has hit us hard, she is waking up 3 or 4 times and then finally waking up fully alert and cheery around 7.30 am (1-1.5 hrs earlier than usual). Is this happening with you? Do you fully wake them up and start the day or just ride through this time till they are ready to sleep again? Sorry for the long post!
