I've noticed for the last year, I'm stuck in this phase of rumination.
Thoughts about people who has wrong me in the past.
It's not a feeling of hate or ill willm it's almost like a heart break over what a friend or family member did. And I think wow I would have never did that to them.
It's taking up to much mental load and I realised these past events has put a wall up.
I dont want these scenarios to live rent free in my head. I have no time for it.
But the question is, how do you just get over it and move on?

Sounds like some therapy would be beneficial here. Talk it through properly that helps!

If I had a nickel for everytime someone said forget about it and move on id be rich. Unfortunately my brain doesn't turn off. When I talk to my younger brother or sister (moms side) my inside voice talks about how their dad tried to kill us. When i talk to my dad my inside voice reminds me his mom hates me bc I'm female or the abuse I endured living with him for years. When I talk to my sister (dads youngest) my inside voice thinks about the fact her mom left us as my dad got custody so that her daughter (my sister) could have a better life. If my inside voice would just shut up I feel like life would be a bit easier but its not like I can just cut out that part of my brain. When I was younger after my cat accident I wished the accident would have just wiped my memory. Now that I have kids I am greatful I remember so that way I can learn from the terrible things that were done in my life to give them a better future. But to forget and move on what a pipe dream

Talking therapy and practicing mindfulness. Not quick solutions, you don’t stop overnight or anything, but it will help long term.
I also knit, crochet and paint. Sometimes I even just pick up one if my kid’s colouring books and her crayons. I find being busy with my hands quiets my mind and helps me be present in the moment.
This may sound silly, but I’m a FTM so any advice would be appreciated 🥹
My baby is 11 days old, and at some point I would like to start going out more but I’m confused how the bottles will be sterile in a bag, I currently use the Tommee Tippee bottles and the Tommee Tippee UV steriliser but I read once they are out the steriliser they aren’t sterile anymore? Maybe I’m misunderstanding it. Just wanted some advice on what other people do 😊

We’re in the gutter of the 4 month regression. My son wakes up ever hour at night screaming. We cosleep and that has made zero difference. He doesn’t always wake up to eat sometimes he just wants us to walk him. I feel like im going insane havent slept in three weeks now. During the day he only does contact naps. Next week im going to try to get to stop doing the contact naps but im terrified that hes going to go crazy and sleep will be even worse. I’m going to do the Ferber method week. I need encouragement and tips and tricks if you have any!

My son is 20 months old, and the only words he says are mama, our dog’s name, bubba (his nickname), and yeah yeah for yes. He also does some animal sounds, uses sign language for more, eat, all done, and help, and he points to things he wants. He understands most of what I say, but he’s just not saying many words yet.
I feel like at his age he should be saying more, so I’m considering speech therapy. Have any moms had experience with speech therapy for their little ones, or have any advice? 🤍
