Not feeling very skilled at settling my baby

My baby is 5 weeks old and I’m EBF, I have a very fast letdown/oversupply which I’m hoping will resolve, but it means some feeds are peaceful enough and some are a bit of a battle as my LO splutters and gets gassy. Side lying and reclining as well as taking off some of the letdown helps a bit. I know at this age baby’s wake windows and naps are a bit all over the place, but if I miss a cue and baby gets overtired and cries I feel sooooo guilty. It then obviously becomes much harder to settle him when he’s overtired. I also struggle as I always offer boob to get off to sleep but sometimes this isn’t what he wants even though I think it will be, and it makes him upset again! Anyone else in the same boat?

Yeah I'm having the same issue ATM my girl is nearly 3 weeks and I can't settle her to put her down. She literally wants to be on me 24/7. I'm struggling as she is not putting enough weight on so I'm having to put her on the boob then also feed her a bottle after and most of the time she doesn't even want the bottle so that makes her fussy.

Confused about sterile bottles

This may sound silly, but I’m a FTM so any advice would be appreciated 🥹
My baby is 11 days old, and at some point I would like to start going out more but I’m confused how the bottles will be sterile in a bag, I currently use the Tommee Tippee bottles and the Tommee Tippee UV steriliser but I read once they are out the steriliser they aren’t sterile anymore? Maybe I’m misunderstanding it. Just wanted some advice on what other people do 😊

Sleep training

We’re in the gutter of the 4 month regression. My son wakes up ever hour at night screaming. We cosleep and that has made zero difference. He doesn’t always wake up to eat sometimes he just wants us to walk him. I feel like im going insane havent slept in three weeks now. During the day he only does contact naps. Next week im going to try to get to stop doing the contact naps but im terrified that hes going to go crazy and sleep will be even worse. I’m going to do the Ferber method week. I need encouragement and tips and tricks if you have any!

Speech therapy?

My son is 20 months old, and the only words he says are mama, our dog’s name, bubba (his nickname), and yeah yeah for yes. He also does some animal sounds, uses sign language for more, eat, all done, and help, and he points to things he wants. He understands most of what I say, but he’s just not saying many words yet.
I feel like at his age he should be saying more, so I’m considering speech therapy. Have any moms had experience with speech therapy for their little ones, or have any advice? 🤍
