People touching buggy

FTM and find that people keep touching my buggy like it’s public property every week.

They will move it out of the way, use it as a crutch, walk by and just grab it for to reason, try to squeeze past it or over when I make a hand gesture that I’m actively moving it out of their way. All while my baby is inside it and usually asleep.

It always happens so fast that I can’t even react. As an adult, I wouldn’t come and touch your vehicle...

Does this happen to anyone else?

This is odd that it’s happened so much, can’t say I’ve ever experienced this and I’ve had some fairly big sized double prams in the past

It’s happened to me on public transport or at the park if it’s left empty and in the way.

I don’t mind mums at the park touching it or in a cafe to move it out the way if I’m busy. I do mind entitled numpties on the tube thinking they can push it out the way without saying “excuse me” first.

Happened loads with my first, I’m pregnant again now and if they’re like it with this one then they’re getting their hand slapped or touched themselves, same for the bump touchers once I pop, I ain’t playing this time

I had a 8-9 year old use it as a stepping stool to reach a higher shelf and they looked so offended when I said that if they do that again I will not be kind . Had people squeezing past the buggy holding open cups of coffee , if it was t for the fact I had the hood down on one such occasion my son would have been scalded by coffee when he was 9 months old

Newborn essentials

Went into Mama’s and Papa’s yesterday but found it so overwhelming. Anyone have any recommendations of things we absolutely need for the newborn and what you couldn’t live with out? Which pushchair did you go for? There’s so much to choose from! First time mama needs help 💖

Confused by gender

Hey! Just wondering if anyone has experienced something similar

I’ve had two blood tests one at 9 weeks and another at 10 weeks and both came back showing girl chromosomes. However, whenever my doctor looks at baby on the scan, he can clearly see a nub between the legs. It was still really obvious at our most recent 12-week scan too!

Has anyone had this happen where the blood tests say girl but the scans have looked more like a boy? Did it become clearer later on?

We’re now waiting until our 16-week scan to see if anything changes 💕

NHS & appointments

I had my ‘booking’ in appointment yesterday over the phone and they set up my app and things. I have an appointment on there for 16 weeks but I still can’t see a 12 week appointment?

Is this normal?

Period at 3and a half weeks PP

I’m convinced my period came back on Friday, but when I’ve googled it it says it’s just the PP bleeding. But that stopped over a week and a half ago (had a C-Section). I know it can start up again but this feels very different. I have had a migraine (only get them when I’m on my period), constipation and the pattern of the bleeding is exactly like my periods used to be. Could this be possible? Baby is 4 weeks old tomorrow.
