Because nothing else had worked. Tried for a little over a year on our own, went to fertility clinic & did 5 IUI’s that failed and next step was IVF.

In my opinion you’re never really “ready” to begin IVF. Just like with having a baby: when we started TTC I don’t think I was really ready for a baby but I was ready to try. By the time we went through IVF I was ready for a baby but I definitely don’t think I was prepared. I’ve done a lot of learning along the way with all of it.

Thanks so much for your reply. Sounds similar to my story. My husband and I tried naturally for about a year before going to the fertility clinic and then trying many unsuccessful medicated cycles including 4 IUIs. Our 4th IUI recently failed and our doctor is now recommending IVF. I have PCOS and ovulate with medication but other than that, my husband and I don’t seem to have any other issues so not sure why it’s taking so long for us to conceive. We’ve been TTC for almost 3 years now. I’m nervous to begin the process of IVF and cannot believe I’m at this point now. It seems super overwhelming. How was it for you?

It’s so awesome that IVF worked for you and you now have two IVF babies! What a blessing!!

I wasn’t ready at all, I was absolutely terrified. But, I was told it was a bit of a now or never situation. It wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected and I came out feeling pretty strong for being able to deal with it all. Ended up doing 4 rounds so I was a pro by the end! Feel free to ask any questions ❤️

Ladies HELP ASAP

Please look at my tests. Both are for comparison. The one from December 2025 was the invert where I saw a vvvvvvvvvvvvvfl and everyone said it was negative but a few days later I tested positive. Resulted in MC. Not one of my recent tests ever look like today’s as they’ve been solid negatives. I have a good eye for Vvvvvfl. This how my previous PG tests looked when I had my kids too. Under a flash light I see the line!

What you did to get pregnant

Hi lovelies, I am trying to conceive for a second time but it's been really hard. Trying since a year but no success. Had a miscarriage too in April. Any tips suggestions please. I am 37 and really wishing to get pregnant.

So I’ve definitely peaked and it’s now dropping right??

But does it mean I’ve ovulated or it’s still in the time frame to be happening in the next few hours/days

Number Two?

Hello! I was lucky enough to have a successful IVF cycle and my son is now 10mo (mid Nov birthday). He was born via c-section. Obviously it’s early days but we would like to try for another someday with my remaining iced embryos.

Is there a time frame we have to wait before we can go back to the clinic? I was thinking late spring/early summer next year?
