Unprotected 👀

I due to get my implant put in tomorrow, I took a Ella one pill on the 14th (I also had unprotected on Saturday.. I know dumb right) my period is due to start today but it hasn’t yet… I don’t know what to do with the appointment tomorrow, should I get another Ella one ? 😥🫣😬

Gotcha I mean i doubt it. If your period is to start today then ovulation most likely wouldn’t have happened a few days ago. Do you happen to know when ovulation is? Did you have unprotected sex before Saturday?

Taking another morning after pill would be pointless. Morning after pills stop you from ovulating, if you're due on today, you'd have already ovulated.

Taking the morning after can also delay your period.

Take a pregnancy test. Talk to your implant provider and they should be able to provide a test and advise you on what to do depending on the result.

I’d definitely mention the EllaOne and the unprotected sex on Saturday at your appointment tomorrow before having the implant fitted. EllaOne can affect when hormonal contraception can be started, so I wouldn’t take another one without speaking to a pharmacist/sexual health clinic first. Your period being late can also happen after EllaOne, so it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re pregnant 🤍

I need some advice!

Me and my boyfriend are expecting our first baby in December, before I became pregnant we were constantly having sex as I have always had a high sex drive but now I am 26 weeks pregnant and we haven’t had sex in about 4/5 months. My boyfriend is very scared about hurting me or the baby so has been avoiding it completely (even head).
I masturbate sometimes when I get really horny but I just want that intimacy back with him.
What can I do?

Help please

My boyfriend doesn’t go down on me! In his defence he didn’t before I was pregnant & still won’t now that I’ve had the baby. I’ve mentioned it before and let him know how it makes me feel and that it bothers me.

He doesn’t have a high sex drive and will happily not have sex for a long time, I’m fresh out of ideas. I’m now 8 weeks postpartum and at a loss for what to do next lol

Struggling with being lonely

Just need to vent

Before having a baby I loved my own company, very much a home bird, I’m not social at all! I was very content with my life I have one friend but we are now in different stages of life and it’s hard.

My baby is almost 5 months and I’ve never felt so lonely in my life, I never thought I would feel this way. Now the visits from family have died down I’m struggling.

I feel so awkward in social situations I have no idea how to make friends at 27 🤷‍♀️ my one friend is from high school.

Just need to get it off my chest, don’t think my husband understands just how hard it is being at home all the time when before all I wanted to do was be at home.
