Ive had a C section & have a great support system. My parents and husband ensure i get enough rest by taking care of the baby. Baby is healthy and im healthy too. Yet i find myself sometimes reliving my entire pregnancy journey in my mind or start feeling low for absolute no reason at all. Is it the hormones or what is exactly happening with me?

Ohhh it’s the hormones!! I told myself during pregnancy I’d never do it again and here I am 4 weeks pp after c section missing being pregnant. I cried all the time for the first 3 weeks it’s only just starting this week that I’m feeling a little bit better.
Be kind to yourself and allow yourself to cry or feel how you need to feel but make sure you ask for help if your really really low ❤️

It's hormones and it's just so emotional the process and bringing new life to the world, for 9 months you were carrying your baby under your heart and now the baby's here and it's just so surreal and beautiful and the emotions feel so strong and love for this tiny human feels so strong, especially with 1st baby cos it's all new. With the second (your heart is not dividing it's growing bigger, I couldn't believe it, and now having my second 5 weeks ago I'm so happy it's true!), but still you can get some downs even with support and rest you get, and it's normal. But then when you feel like this down mood stays for longer and you're getting concerned talk to your gp or midwife they can advise more.

I have Cystic Fibrosis and I am 27+5. My midwife requested an appointment with the anaesthetic doctor so I’ve been to that today and I feel like she’s forcing me to have the epidural when I really don’t want it. She says it’ll help with my lung capacity so she wants me to have the epidural straight away as soon as I’m in labour. However, my CF team have said I am and my lungs are healthy enough to give birth as a normal woman, so I can have gas and air etc. the anaesthetic doctor didn’t ask me what my lung function was or nothing. I’ve been so healthy the past 6 years so I really don’t think I need the epidural. I’m a bit of a push over so I feel like I will end up having the epidural even though I don’t want it. How do I get around this? It’s upset me and annoyed me at the same time cause she’s made me think I’m not healthy enough to give birth without the epidural

I’m supposed to go this week for my glucose test and everyone says the drinks are horrible. I’m so nervous and I’ve been nauseous the entire pregnancy so far and don’t want to have to redo it or for me to puke. How was it for u guys?

I'm 26 weeks, and already for a while I've been struggling to eat. I just feel like I'm full after a few mouthfuls. I know to eat little and often but I struggle to even do that! If I already feel like there's no room for any food in there, how am I going to make it to potentially 40 weeks?! I stopped putting on weight a few weeks ago now too. I see other pregnant women further along than me having no issues eating at all. Getting worried 😬
