Im 38 and have a 6 week old, definitely not too old xxx

Sorry only read part of that.. might be worth seeing gp about it you may have polycystic ovaries or something else.. it might not necessarily be the start of menopause xxx

Nope

I thought I was going through menopause, I'm 38 and currently 30 weeks pregnant

I had my first at 38 and due my second in December I’ll be 41. But both were ivf for non-age related reasons. Any concerns see a doctor sooner rather than later but it’s def not too late, people have babies in perimenopause all the time and it’s not even likely that at 37, hormone changes happen for lots of reasons.

I wish I waited that long . I had my first at 23.. worst age and I was not prepared . I’m 27 with 3rd and still don’t know wtf I’m doing.

Im 40 and pregnant with our second, so NOT AT ALL!
Youre probably giving the baby a more stable environment than with 20 (obviously not true on all cases), so id try further!

I'm 37 and 6 months pregnant, my mum was 40 when she had my little sister. Definitely not too old.
My periods have changed so many times over the years, due to hormonal fluctuations and endometriosis and losses, but for a long time i was convinced i was in peri (i'm not). Maybe get checked over. You could just be low in something.
I was trying for years and had losses, then i was placed on 5mg folic acid and vitamin D from the doctor, and I took Ovum conception (which I purchased myself) and focused on good hydration (because i'm useless at that). And with about 7 months of all that I fell pregnant again and this time, all looks well.
You are most certainly not too old, especially if you are a good mum! But you may just need a little extra support getting there

I’ll be turning 38 this week and I’m pregnant with my third. Definitely not too late.

I’m due to register my baby officially soon and my boyfriend’s dad has asked for his own original copy of the birth certificate…? I found this so weird because what is he able to do with this document. I don’t want to give it to him
I’m very confused as to why he would even request this or am I overthinking things
What should I do? Would you give it to him …
(Me and my partner live together and are doing well there no animosity between us )

I’m having such a hard time believing my test is positive. I had a period on the 11th that was heavy for the full length and negative pregnancy test. My only symptoms are constant nausea and sore boobs fatigue. I’ve tested a few times next to the max line and it’s positive is that a real positive… I feel like I’m going insane…

I hope to hear honest things. Is having a child as rewarding as what they portray? Who wish they could go back and be child free?

If you’re not a lazy parent, it’s not about you. I don’t known why people get so defensive about this.
There are hundreds, thousands of lazy parenting in the world. Throwing around “we’re all trying our best” is defending bad parenting.
Example,
If you can assess that your child isn’t ready for potty training or if you have tried and it didn’t go to plan. Obviously you aren’t what people are referring to when they talking about lazy parents. But that doesn’t take away from the fact there are parents that can’t be bothered to parent.
