Not feeling my lower abdomen!

Is it normal not to feel when I touch some parts of my lower abdomen close to the c section scar …I feel as if I were to touch someone else …I mentioned to the gp and they said keep an eye on…

Honestly, first time mum and c section, I think it is. It took maybe 3-4 months to start feeling anything, mostly I think because I was massaging g and working on that area daily. But you need to discuss with your gp when it’s safe to do so. I just looked up on instagram and started very gently

How long pp are you? I’m 10 months and still can’t fully feel much. It’s funny when my stomach rumbles or something, i just can’t feel it🤣 it’s definitely a smaller surface area now than when I was freshly pp xx

It's totally normal. They cut nerves so they are "damaged" and they will feel numb, itchy, or burning as they heal. I don't remember when it started to feel normal to me.

Thats normal. The nerves have been disrupted, can take some time for the feeling to come back. For some people it never comes back! 6 years later i don’t think i have full 100% sensation, but it’s all i know now so i don’t notice the difference, majority of feeling has returned

I had my first February 2022 and never got some of the feeling back around my scar. I had my second 10 weeks ago so will probably feel even less now 😂

Nursery essentials for toddler

My daughters just turned 2 and weee putting her in nursery for just 2 days a week starting next month

What should I be packing in her bag - what are the essentials?

Coil

I have been given a date for my c section when I was in my last appointment they offered to put a coil in while iam in surgery for my section as a form of contraception. Iam not too sure if I should do this incase it gives me bad side effects or messes with my hormones has anyone had this before and what was your experience like? This is my first baby and its all new to me.

Second degree tear and sitting on the toilet🫠

My baby is 7 weeks old tomorrow, I had a natural birth but got a second degree tear and had other stitches for a vaginal wall repair. I'm mostly healed day to day but the sitting position when sat on the toilet causes uncomfortable pain and I can only sit for a minute or two before having to stand up which is obviosuly hard whilst trying to go to the loo😩
I had a step stool so my feet are flat on something as I'm short and they don't touch the floor but is there anything else i can be doing to nake it more comfortable or is this just my life now

Last night my husband and I had sex and after that my stomach was tightening and I’ve been nauseous all day my back hurts my pelvis hurts I’m 38 w 3 days ..

Bigger baby experiences?

Today is my Estimated due date, had a scan yesterday and baby is estimated at 9lbs 11oz - worth noting they couldnt get a head measurement as baby is too low down in my pelvis.

No signs of labour as of yet, which is fine. Before I found out baby was on the bigger size (95.7 centile) I was wanting to wait for him to come naturally. Now I’m considering a sweep as my first option to give my body gentle encouragement into labour.

The hospital have been extremely pushy since 37 weeks with wanting me to be induced which I would like to avoid if possible and posing no risk to baby & I without it.

Can anyone share their experiences with birthing a baby on the larger centile?

Hey guys! I have just gotten the news that I’ll be induced. I’m due November 20th and they want to induce me November 15th. Anyone been induced? Anything specific I should expect? Any advice? Thank you in advance!
