In my first pregnancy my PAPP-A was 2.25 but this time round it’s 0.896. I know it’s not classed as low, but I can’t help but worry over how different it is compared to my first.
My Down’s syndrome test also came back very different this time round at 1 in 660 when in my first pregnancy it was 1 in 10000.
There’s only been 2 years between the pregnancies, so I’m not sure age could have caused such a huge change, could it?

When do you find out your PAPP-A results? Is that from your booking bloods? I can’t see my blood results but midwife and consultant have said they all look normal.
I can’t answer your question I’m afraid! They took my weight at the time of my downs test so I wonder if that has affected things?
Normal PAPP-A is usually classed as anything 0.415-2. Anything below 0.415 flags as low. Yours isn’t anywhere near low and is a very normal result, so I wouldn’t worry at all. I’d suggest giving your midwife a call to chat the result through so that they can give you peace of mind 😊

Another chemical
I’m so embarrassed telling my husband about the pregnancy, I told him once I got a darker line and positive digital but this one still ended in a mc. Just had one in July as well. I hate that I brung it up just to end this way. I don’t even know how to feel rn.
