Middle name

Aweee I say give her the middle name! That way she doesn’t grow up jealous her sister has one, or even vice versa. Also, I don’t understand why people assume it’s hyphenated 🙃 maybe because it all flows together so nicely. Love the name choices by the way!

I think you should. I think the name is very cute but since it’s also a season a thing holiday then I’d suggest a middle name too just incase one day she’d like to go by a different name. Which some people do all the time. My cousin went by his middle name basically his whole life. And other people switch it up. So I’d do it to give a variety of options for her. But also because her sister has one too

it's weird that people would assume that your daughter's name is hyphenated, as pretty much everyone has a middle name - far more common to have a middle name than a hyphenated first name! and especially if you call her by only her first name & introduce her as Hartley, not Hartley Rose! i wouldn't regret it - it must be irritating when people get it wrong, but it's such a pretty name!

i also wouldn't let that stop you from giving her sister a middle name! i guess Rose is a name that is more commonly used as a hyphenated name, whereas names like Marlowe, Stevie etc aren't so i think it's unlikely that people would assume she has two first names. i like Holliday Marlowe - or maybe Holliday Robyn (as a female version of Bob!) 💕

I think a middle name is a lovely thing to have. Maybe something short and classic will win over Hubby? Stevie and Bobbie don’t flow as well as Rose in my opinion.

My brother doesn't have a middle name but I do. We don't care 🙃😂. I only have one because they could agree on one, whereas with my brother they couldn't agree so just went without!
