We have a heartbeat 🥹
We had a reassurance scan today, expecting to be between 5w4d and 5w6d, and just hoping to see a yolk sac. Instead, we saw a heartbeat and a baby measuring 6w3d 😭 It's been a difficult journey, but I am so, so grateful for this little life, who will hopefully be the one to complete our family ❤️

Congratulations!!! We also had a scan at 6 weeks. I was also only hoping to see the sack, but heard the heartbeat too - absolutely insane at such small size!

Absolutely beautiful!!!! 🩷🩷🩷We have our 6 week scan next week as only 5 weeks this weeks could t see a heart beat so praying for next week! 🙏

Is diarrhea common in the third trimester?
I'm at the start of my third trimester and without being too crude, I have had liquid stools for the last 4/5 days. I mentioned it to the midwife a few days ago and she appeared to be surprised and said if it continued to contact my GP or a midwife, at this point it had been happening for 2 days minimum. Is this normal?

Extremely vivid nightmares?
I’m currently 7 weeks PP and the wee one has been going through his 6-8 week crisis so I’m extra tired but the last couple of nights I’ve started having horribly and extremely vivid nightmares all related to baby - to the point I will wake up talking or crying or doing sudden movements. Anyone experienced something similar? Tonight I didn’t even remember falling asleep in between feeds and almost thought I had woken the baby up from how badly I jerked

Big Baby Born 🩵
My sweet baby boy came plowing into this world at 11lbs!!!!! 22 1/2inches long on September 17th! I was 41+4 thinking he was trying to stay in there permanently 😂 September mamas, you’ve got this!!!!! 💪🏽 💖♍️♎️✨

Middle name
Our little girl has a middle name - Hartley Rose Layton (Layton - surname) but I do regret it a bit as sometimes people assume she’s hyphenated Hartley-Rose 🫠🫠 instead of just Hartley! Anyway… my husband is now very against giving baby 2 a middle name. Says her name (Holliday Layton) is enough but I feel like we gave her sister a middle name so we should give her one too. I don’t have a middle name at all and always wanted one - just doesn’t feel right to do one for one but not the other! I’ve proposed female variants of our dads’ names (Bobbie and Stevie) or Marlowe which was number 2 on our list but he’s a very stubborn man!
Any thoughts on this would be helpful!
