Surgery & holiday

Last Wednesday my husband was admitted to hospital via A&E, long story short he ended up having surgery early hours Monday am. He was allowed home Wednesday. We are due to go on a cruise this weekend! I’ve said we should cancel, husband says no….

What would you do?

I’m worried about if anything happens to his surgery site, infection, medical care etc

Cruise ships often have really good medical care on board. It may be worth calling the Cruise line and asking them what you shiuld bring, what info do they need etc just incase you need their assistance. Also check your holiday insurance to make sure any medical care bills will be covered if you need to come off the ship for care for any reason.

I’d check with your insurance - there’s a good chance they won’t cover it that close to an operation x

20 week scan

I had 20 week scan today and told baby looks girl, i really wanted a boy. Please share any personal experience of 20 week scan gender turned out to be wrong ? Should i go for private gender scan ? No judgement please .

Wierd one

Am I the only person with an anterior placenta who just felt there baby start kicking and now when ever I wake up I struggle to go back to sleep becuase baby is very very active and no stop kicking me ???? Not that I dont enjoy it i do but I still want sleep. Also it is only me who has like 3 months left and can only drink coke cola
