Best month to try and conceive?

Either the very end of or the beginning of the year so you are half way through pregnancy in summer when it's hottest and then when baby comes it's cold and dark so you can basically hibernate plus have a tiny baby for Xmas.

If he smokes it can reduce fertility. Tbh I have had babies in April, May and June. This year's one in June we had some very hot temperatures, so yes it was difficult, but I missed the worst of it in July-August. The bonus is all my children have birthdays in pretty good weather +so it also opens up more birthday party options in the future! 😁).

For our 3rd it took nearly a year to conceive, neither smokes but I drink. So personally I would start trying now, as you may not be ill - I was lucky in 2/3 of mine that I wasnt!

August led to a May baby (positive pregnancy test September 9th). Being in the high desert it was anxiety inducing as we’re getting hot earlier and earlier and we had a small newborn we were struggling to keep cool. Baby was almost always naked beside a diaper.

I live in northern Ireland so no matter what it’s mostly always cold. But I think I’d rather not have a newborn when my older daughter is off school. I have an older nearly 7 year old and I find summer hard enough when she’s off school. I think it be way easier when the older ones at school. Anybody else find this ?

Honestly my second and now third were both conceived April & May 😅
