Struggling with one week old
My one week old feeds on me constantly. I am getting no sleep at night and have a toddler so finding it harder. When does it get easier🥲

The first month is the hardest 🩷 do you have someone that can help you? Are you interested in establishing bottles too so you can pump and someone else can feed bubs while you get a few hours of sleep?
This is very normal but also very hard. I had this with my baby and then had to run around with a toddler in the day too. The things that helped me were:
After my toddler went to bed, i fed baby, baby slept on husband for a few hours and I would go to bed. Once awake, I had baby during the night and then at 4ish, my husband would take over and hold baby while they were sleeping so I could get a couple of hours sleep.
Getting a bit of sleep early in the evening helped me push through the nights.
Would also be worth looking af the lullaby trust website on safe cosleep - this could really help you get sleep in the night.

Suicidal can anyone relate?
been depressed since I was in middle school now i’m 23 with a 2 year old drinking every day to stop from killing myself why does it never get better? Saw this story of woman who tried to drown her and her kids in a pool and honestly I completely understood. why keep a child in this miserable world. taking them out is saving them especially when no one would take care of them after you die anyways

How long did baby sleep in your room?
My little one is only just 4 months but is rolling and already pretty much grown out of his next to me crib in size! I am an anxious mum and a stickler for following safety guidelines so we are going to dismantle and rebuild his big cot in our bedroom. Obviously that's a big of a faff for just 2 months but the more I think about it the more I can't even think about him moving into his own bedroom anytime soon... It feels so wrong to me to just stick my infant in his own bedroom? 😂 But obviously I know it needs to happen at some point so I'm just curious to see when other parents did the transition whether earlier or later?

Why are people posting pics of blood abd mucus plugs without the sensitive content warning??? Not everyone has the stomach to see that, there's first time moms on here who don't need to see it like have some consideration for others??

Night time
Hey moms I’m a new momma my daughter is 3 days old she’s cried most all night she’s been a great behaved baby but at night she cries and cries she’s been fed clean diaper I try to sooth her and I feel just mentally exhausted any advice on newborns who cry at night and tips for feeling overwhelmed being a new mom

Anyone who breastfed before… is it worth it?
Its much harder than I thought and I almost never get to sleep. Most people told me oh it gets easier but lots of mamas told me like ‘oh my 7 month old still feeds every 1.5 hours’ 😬
Where is the easy part in this? Really need some encouragement. We did formula for our oldest and right now it seems so appealing to share with my husband and get some sleep… 😭🙈
