How long did baby sleep in your room?
My little one is only just 4 months but is rolling and already pretty much grown out of his next to me crib in size! I am an anxious mum and a stickler for following safety guidelines so we are going to dismantle and rebuild his big cot in our bedroom. Obviously that's a big of a faff for just 2 months but the more I think about it the more I can't even think about him moving into his own bedroom anytime soon... It feels so wrong to me to just stick my infant in his own bedroom? 😂 But obviously I know it needs to happen at some point so I'm just curious to see when other parents did the transition whether earlier or later?

My little one stayed in our room for about 8 months, he was very small and fit in his next to me all that time so was easier for us 😊
Just before 7 months. We kept him in the next to me (physically no room for a cot in our room) he was rolling by 4 months but we had a deep next to me and the sides were always up.
We moved my lil one to her own room at 5 months when we moved house, and had the space to do so, tbh she was very ready about 4 months, she was happy in her cot in our room but she was waking us up flailing and grunting and we were waking her up coming to bed/getting up etc. once we moved her she slept so much better and so did we, we left our bedroom door open so we could hear her and also had the monitor. I think there’s the guidance but also a lil bit of knowing your child and when they are ready for different stages. Xx
We have my 19 week old in a room with her dad, my eldest co sleeps next to me and they disturb each other.
I co slept until 4 months then he went to his own bedroom, I found that he would wake more in our bed and was much happier sleeping in his bedroom! That’s also when we started having a proper bedtime routine. The transition was really smooth and anytime he would seem unsettled he’d be back in our bed 🥰
My first stayed in my room until 1 and a half , only because we were in a one-bedroom flat but with my second, he stayed in the next to me until 6 months. Then he moved into a cot in his sisters room .
2 years for us!
16 months and is still in our room. Baby no2 due May so need to start transitioning him into his own room now x
My son moved out of our room at about 15 months old, it hasn’t improved his sleep

Why are people posting pics of blood abd mucus plugs without the sensitive content warning??? Not everyone has the stomach to see that, there's first time moms on here who don't need to see it like have some consideration for others??

Night time
Hey moms I’m a new momma my daughter is 3 days old she’s cried most all night she’s been a great behaved baby but at night she cries and cries she’s been fed clean diaper I try to sooth her and I feel just mentally exhausted any advice on newborns who cry at night and tips for feeling overwhelmed being a new mom

Naps at nursery
My little boy will be 10 months old when he starts nursery, he currently needs holding/cuddling to fall asleep then I can place him down in his cot to nap once’s he’s fell asleep. He won’t settle on his own it just results in him screaming crying. But I’m worried about when he starts nursery, will the staff there do the same at nap time or will he expected to self settle himself to sleep?

Vaccinations
My boy has his first round of vaccinations today. How did people prep for it? Some HV & docs say to give calpol 30 mins before the appointment but some say don’t….. what did you do?
