12 month jabs

Myles has his 12 month jabs today, I’m aware they’ve changed since my 1st borns 4 years ago. Can anyone set my expectations please and how did your babies cope?? Myles has an awful cold at the moment don’t know whether to postpone??

Longer stints but earlier wake up ?

My LO has been sleeping longer stints 3-4 hours rather than 2-3 hours these last 2 weeks but has been waking up for the day 3.30am-4.30am and will stay awake 2 hours before his first nap.i have tried feeding,changing him cuddling, ignoring him but he just wants to play. Please send advise. He goes to bed between 6pm-7.30pm

Mum's some advice, please!

My little boy is 18 months old, I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant and having to use progesterone pessaries to help with my pregnancy. I've read it can lessen your milk supply and he only feeds during the night, his sleep has become progressively worse these last few nights, he's waking up almost every 40 mins at max 1hr and half crying and won't settle till he's with me and wants boob. The morning sickness is in full swing and I feel the very little sleep isn't helping. He's never slept through the night and has always had a few night wakes but they are getting worse.
Do you think it could be my milk supply? Has anyone else been through anything similar? Are there things you tried/done that's helped?
I've seen the bedtime creams all over tiktok, does it actually work?

Cosatto next to me crib

I have the cosatto next to me crib. It states that the mattress is 78cm x 44cm but I'm struggling to find sheets to fit it.
Has anyone else got this and can recommend any sheets please? Thankyou 😊

RANT - Health Visitor complaint

I’ve just had the health visitor over for my 7 week old sons 6/8 week check and was wondering if this is ok or should I report this to save the next person who might not be as strong?

Baby boy was crying when she arrived and told me he sounds like he’s in pain, but had no suggestions on what to do and asked me if I still love him when he cries like that. She then asked me to list ‘3 reasons why i love my son’ and just sat staring at me until i answered - I was so on edge I couldn’t answer and she just raised her eyebrows at me and moved on. Asking me all extreme depression / mental health questions and going on and on and then watched over me why I filled in a depression chart.
Then told me I’m making bad habits by holding him when he sleeps, she’s the only midwife i’ve ever come across who has that option of a 7 week old baby? And then said if I continue to go to him when he cries he’ll learn that he can cry to get what he wants so told me to leave him to cry it out which goes against ALL advice online for this age?!

We are at our most vulnerable that we will probably ever be in our entire life postpartum. We will never forget the way people treat us. Postnatal depression is REAL. Imagine the next woman she says this too doesn’t cope with having those things said to her?

Can’t stop crying at my toddler

Anyone else just stare at their toddler and cry because they love them so much? This is strange to me because I absolutely hated the new born and baby bit. I struggled to bond for the first year and felt like I’d ruined my life. Then bit by bit things got better. Now I could eat her I love her so much. I’m glad I’ve reached this point but now I’ve gone the other way and it consumes me with the love, the worry and devotion I have towards her.
If you’ve experienced this, when do you feel more balanced as a mother? I worry I never will.
