C-section question.

How soon did people drive after c-section?

I know the advice is 6 weeks but did anyone go sooner?

I didn’t wait 6 weeks, think I may of waited 4 weeks or so 😅

I started driving at 4 weeks just nearby places and only 3-4 times per week. It really depends on your recovery. I felt well and confident to do so ..

I think I drove at 5 weeks, I just went up and down the road we live on and tried a few emergency stops and it felt fine, so I guess whenever you're ready 👍🏻

I think I waited 2-3 weeks but it was my third c-section and scar fully healed and felt well in myself and recovery

I started at 4 weeks pp. I felt well and capable, was no longer taking pain meds and my partner had returned to work and I would have gone insane in the house with two kids alone. I did a test short drive to see how I felt and then I was only doing short distances for the first couple of weeks.

First baby, after 6 weeks. Second baby, just before 5 weeks

i had a rough recovery and waited 6 weeks but probably could’ve done to wait abit longer

Calling in sick from work

Please someone reassure me it is okay to do this as I can’t stop myself feeling guilty. I’ve called in sick today from work as I’m burnt out, exhausted and not feeling great. Also my mental health has been shocking. I’m 19 weeks pregnant with a 17 month old and never get the chance to just do nothing or rest. All my holiday had to be used before I returned to work or I wouldn’t have been paid so I don’t have any holiday to take now, calling in sicks my only choice. It doesn’t help either that last week I was REALLY struggling with my mental health and had 2 breakdowns at work then as I was leaving on the last day a colleague fell out with me, threatened to discuss it with a manager and I left in floods of tears in a bad way. I’ve not been back since and am dreading returning. Annoyingly though I’ve slept this morning after dropping my lo to nursery and I feel no more energised for it🤦🏼‍♀️

Baby 4d scan

I had my 4d scan and omg so in love . 🥹😍 was debating if to get one or not and so glad I did .

Any guesses? 👀

I’m waiting for my 20 week scan but I’m too impatient lol

Uterine polyps

😭 so I've had non stop heavy uterine bleeding for the last 4 months. I've had two ultrasounds which seem to suggest that I have a uterine polyp but they can't be sure, doesn't look like it's anything worse.
I've now been referred to gynaecology and having just chased my appointment as per the NHS app instructions been told the wait time to be seen is 12-18 months 😢
Firstly I'm scared that it is something bad and leaving it this long is not a good idea, and secondly my daughter has just turned 1 and because of my age (almost 40) we were hoping to start trying for a second next year.
I can't afford to go private at this time as it can cost up to £4500 for the procedure I'm expecting to have.

Has anyone had the same? Have any of you got pregnant with a polyp and it's been ok?
I'm so worried that I get pregnant again and lose the baby, or it causes complications for me (I don't want to leave my LG 🙏🏼💔) or that I bleed my whole pregnancy and I'm constantly anxious something is wrong.

My GP has said she doesn't think there would be any issues trying again now that I'm 12 months post c section.

My LG was born via emergency c section under general anaesthetic at 35 weeks because I had maternal sepsis so my anxiety in another pregnancy will be high anyway.
