Own Room

Have you moved your December baby to their own room yet? My wee boy is nearly 10 months and he is still in the cot beside our bed. Don't know if I'm ready for him to go to his own room yet 🙈

We moved over around 7/8 months. Our first had her own room from 7 months and slept so much better. They share a room now and it wasn't as bad as I thought I was going to be. Somehow every night everyone ends up in our bed 😂 so I wouldn't say it's been 100% successful but because we co slept from when he was so young I still feel fairly successful with it

I'm in the same predicament! My little boy sleeps all night in his cot and although his room is painted and ready for him, I don't feel ready to let him go in there yet 🥹🥹

We’re planning to move our little boy into his own room in the next week or so! He’s 10 months tomorrow & I think we’re all ready for it now, but if not I’ll just move him back for a bit longer 🥺

Mums of bad sleepers!! Does it get better?

My little boy is a horrific sleeper, he’s almost 9 months old, EBF, and has been waking every hour since 3 months. He’s fine with his naps, but his night time sleep is so bad. We started cosleeping for survival around 3.5- 4 months, but he doesn’t even sleep much better that way than he does in his room anymore. We have tried absolutely everything and I’m currently trying to anchor his morning wake up time and really space out his naps etc but I just want someone to tell me if this has ever actually gotten better! I have so many people give suggestions, but I’m not really after advice, I just want someone who had a baby with similar sleeping habits to tell me that it eventually gets better!

When did your little one move out of bassinet pram attachment?

When did your little ones move from the bassinet pram attachment into the next stage? We have a Joie Signature, the next stage is the ‘stroller’ seat but it can be reclined so the baby is still lying down.

Car seat head flop

I've got the redkite i-savana set with car seat, my little 3mo has been doing a lot of head flops as she falls asleep during a drive and I'm worried as she's not got proper neck strength yet that when we do a longer drive in November it will be an issue. Am I worrying too much or is it time to look to get a different car seat?
The straps were pulled as tight as we could and newborn insert is removed as she's over 60cm. Seat can't be adjusted to tilt back.

Bath

Has anyone skipped giving their little one a bath because its gotten too late? Even if they got bit dirty after tea? My little one has a bath tonight usually but cos shes had tea late an her bedtime is soon it just seems right to leave it. I feel bad

Health visitor appt before birth

Has anyone else received an appointment for a health visitor to come to their home? With my first pregnancy nobody from the health visiting team came to my home until after my son had been born, but this time I’ve received an appointment for over a month before my due date.
