Anyone else in this panic that they havnt done enough or bought enough for their LO I know I’ve bought a lot and I’ve not planned anything big as there wouldn’t be really any kids there so we planed to go out instead to the zoo but I just have this guilt in me that I’ve not done or got enough!! You have absolutely done enough. A trip to the zoo sounds perfect, and I'm sure she will love the presents!

Mateeeee. I would say three presents so they have the joy of unwrapping plus a cake and singing is absolutely plenty. Sounds like you've gone above and beyond and your little one is super lucky and I hope you have a very special celebration and enjoy the zoo 🥰🥰🥰

Feel like our babies are birthday twins - 10th? Im in exactly the same boat, mum guilt makes me think nothing is enough!

I’m in the exact same situation, my LO turns 1 in 22 days, I’ve planned to take her to the zoo too now that her birthdays round the corner I just keep thinking I haven’t done enough xx

We've planned to go to the sea life centre and then are going to build a bear cause they do pay your age birthday bears so a bear will be £1! Then just a little get together with family the next day :)

My little girls birthday is in 10 minutes and I’m sat here blowing up balloons for the morning 😂 I haven’t got anything planned for tomorrow but I’m taking her and my oldest to Alton towers CBeebies world at the weekend, she loves bluey so I’m hoping we can meet them 😅

There is so much pressure as parents that it is normal to constantly worry you’ve not done enough. It’s your little one’s birthday. Whatever you have brought or do will be enough. If it puts your mind at ease, we literally got our daughter two things - a photo book of memories, and a special bear. We are taking her away for a little holiday instead. We chose not to get her any “presents” as a, she doesn’t understand and b we knew she would get them from friends and family 🥰

We are also just taking a trip to our local zoo! I was going to go on a big day out with her and then I thought I would much rather just have a small day out and then we can enjoy and soak in sitting with her and her presents for the morning!

Scrubs fitting larger Dad

Hi all; I’m due to have a C section at RUH Bath in 2 weeks and my husband is very worried about scrubs fitting - he is approx 4XL. Any tips especially from RUh but other hospitals helpful, thanks.

Rolling

My son is nearly 5 months old and he’s not showing any signs of even the slightest bit of being interested in rolling over. I practice with him all the time. I’m an anxious mum and I just worry he’s behind on his milestones😩

Spicy time?? 👀

Obviously I know it’s whenever I feel ready but I had an episiotomy and a 3rd degree tear so when am I okay to even try anything, not even the full thing?

How to round out B belly ?

Has anybody actually found anything that helps to make a B belly baby bump look rounder? I hate that I just looked fat all the way through my first pregnancy ( for reference I'm size 16-18) and want to find something that will smooth out the center line ready for maternity photos this time round? Any advice please?

VBAC

My first pregnancy went fine no complications was having extra scans due to low lying placenta. At 32+4 I had a bleed so went to PAU and was told id be kept in and monitored for 24 hours but whilst in there had another bleed so the decision was made to have an emergency c section. I was told after it was a placenta abruption but they couldn’t confirm the cause baby was in NICU for 4-5 weeks. Im now 23+6 with my second pregnancy and have felt fine throughout, classed as high risk for pre term so under a consultant. I was considering natural delivery but recently have started to get the horrors reading up about VBAC. Would anyone like to share their experience?
