Cleaning baby girl 👧 asking all girl mums for advice please

When she’s in the bath, a cotton bud. That’s what I used to clean the private area, wet the tips and just go along the crease, swapping the tip each time and do as many times until it’s clean. They get a build up of cream, poop in the creases.

A friend of mine little girl got an infection down there as a FT mum she didn’t clean the private area either.

And as she gets older you won’t have to use the cotton buds, think I stopped around 3 months and started wiping with her wash cloth.

I have always just cleaned her down there. No way am I leaving poop inside her vagina. I just go really carefully. X

100% clean any visible poo but just don’t go digging excessively is basically the advice.

I would clean it gently as she could get bad rash or really sore xx

I’ve always clean my daughters down there but make sure when you are doing the inside if there is any discharge or poo to be very, very gentle I used warm water and cotton pads until my daughter was about two months old and then after I used wipes ❤️
