Postpartum drastic haircut

I've been getting frustrated by my postpartum hair loss. There's hair on everything and I feel like I'm causing more damage every time I tie it up out of the way to feed or pick up the baby. I've been growing it for years and like it long but I have booked a hair appointment for a restyle and am planning to get it cut into a long bob. It's a bit drastic but I hope I'll feel better about my hair. I know my hair will still keep falling out but I hope it being shorter will make it more manageable. Has anyone else taken the plunge and gone for a completely new short style post-partum? Did it make you feel better about your hair? Did it make the hair loss less frustrating?

I have shirt hair pre and post baby
And not gonna sugar coat it. Its still horrible. I'm constantly taking hair off of me and the baby. My hair is a long bob and i grab what feels like clumps everytime I touch it. Just gotta get through this i think. I'm starting postpartum vitamins and hoping that helps x

I had my hair done 1 months ago and cut it into a really short bob, and I’m still losing clumps of hair it’s no stop no matter what I try and do, it’s everywhere and all over my partner as well I’ve never pulled so much of my hair out of his beard I could make a wig with it.

I’ve yet to get my hair cut short this time but I did this after I had my older daughter. It obviously still fell out but it felt thicker again because it was shorter. Plus it took less time to do which is a bonus having young children. Planning to get mine cut to above my shoulders in a few weeks

I had mine cut short (shaved back and sides, then a few inches long on top) just before I had my third child 5 years ago. Never suffered with post partum hair loss thankfully, but its definitely a lot less maintenance now and so much quicker each morning which is helpful when I have three to get ready for school and a baby

My long hair reached my back and lots of it. One day I had enough and cut it in bathroom myself. I guess in hindsight looking back it may have been a mental breakdown but next day the hairdresser fixed it for me to have a long bob 🥲

3 months after my first I cut my hair short and died it dark (I’m a bottle blonde normally) and I have to say that within a month I regretted it soooooo much! I’m also aware of a number of friends who did similar things and felt the same; it’s like some kind of pp restyle switch goes off!
That being said, I’ve been having the same thoughts again and even though I keep reminding myself how I hated it I really feel like it’s getting cut off again 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Postpartum hair loss

Let’s see it ladies.
You’ve got to laugh or you’ll cry, let’s be honest 🤣

Edit: this is what I caught in the shower and does not include anything that went down the plug, anything that stayed on my comb, anything still attached to my body when I got out or anything that was still in the bath when I was done ✌️.

Help!!!!

Someone please help me with some advice because I’m losing my absolute mind 😭
Baby is 5 months old, she has changed a lot in personality over the last month, more needy, sleep changes etc but have put it down to the 4 month regression and teething.
However, the problem that makes me want to literally cry is the car seat! She is totally inconsolable now every time she’s in the car. Why? And what can I do to help it?!

In the trenches 🫠

My baby is almost 4 months, she was always so happy and smiley but recently she SQUEALS!!! if she’s not squealing, she’s crying, no matter what we do.

When we pick her up, she wants to move every two seconds and stiffens up and screams at us to move her, in the car, play gym, in her swing chair.. it’s relentless!!!

Anybody else experienced this?? I’m worried (although I hope not!) that because I never let her “self soothe” and responded to every sound she’s made that I may have spoiled her like people said and I laughed at?

Pic of my usually smiley girl so we don’t get lost 🩷

Who is in the same boat?

FTM to a 7 week old who has been incredibly chilled up to now bar problems with wind. From 6 weeks old he has been crying none stop and will only soothe with contact naps. I am unable to put him down and even on me he seems to wake up screaming crying for no apparent reason. He is absolutely fine at night but day times are a different story and he seems to go through a cry - feed - contact nap - cry- feed cycle until he goes down at night. I know this must be a phase but I am STRUGGLING. is anyone else going through the same thing?
