Induction…

Around 45% of inductions end in emergency c-section. Have you discussed benefits v risks with midwife/ consultant?

After my growth scan the consultant told me id have to be induced without actually explaining why. My baby is fine. She hasnt grown since last scan which was 21st September but she is in a healthy weight. 5pounds 6ounces. Babies have been born at that weight before hell even less at my point in pregnancy. I made it very clear i do not want to be induced. I have no reason to believe that anything is to be concerned about. Baby is moving fine, all her vitals are great, my vitals are great. I dont have gestational diabetes either. Everything ive been told during the scan and previous appointments is that everything is perfectly fine. He wasnt happy with my answer and i have told him id rather wait till i see my midwife which is this friday and see what she says. Im already at that point where i get seen every 2 weeks. I havent even been able to discuss my birth plan before this doctor starts telling about inducing me. I really hate doctors, its always been horrible experience.
