Is this a phase or am I majorly failing motherhood?!😩

My little girl will be 15 months on the 10th, the past week or so she has been constantly clingy more than normal! She’s also having complete meltdowns whenever she is told no and when she can’t do what she wants to do it results in her crying and throwing herself backwards! I honestly thought this age would be easier but boy was I wrongšŸ˜‚ She’s always been such a happy baby but just lately it feels like she’s constantly aggy and I don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel😩 I think a lot of it is also frustration because she’s really trying to talk and when it comes to meals she’s wanting to feed herself and not have any help at all so I don’t know if it’s another developmental leap or what but please tell me I’m not alone and it does get better? Mum guilt is so real at the moment as she acts like that but then is really loving and sweet which makes me feel awful for feeling in the trenches and like I’m just wishing this time away for it to get better again!šŸ˜”

I think it a leap learning so much and trying to be more inderpendence. It is hard both my twins are in the phase.

You are not alone at all! I don’t think enough is people talk about how hard the 1s are! They are so full of energy and get so frustrated. It’s hard but try and stay as calm as you can and give names for what they are feeling. Give her simple words if you can to use rather. My daughter gets so frustrated when she’s done eating and still strapped into her high chair and I kept saying ā€˜you finished? You want up?’ to her when she was like this and she now says up and recovers faster and faster from the meltdown. It’s hard all of this and you are not a bad mum at all!! It’s this age, they start to realise they are little people in the world and want things their way and it’s tough to learn it can’t all be your way but it’s a lesson they need to learn. We can get through this! X

I'm in the same boat.
My LG really doesn't like being told no resulting in throwing herself back (in slow motion so she doesn't hurt herself she has banged her head so many times from doing at full force she has learned)
Childminder she doesn't throw a tantrum but gives her evils when she says no.
Also desperate to feed herself but happy for us to pre load spoon for her
She hold out the spoon asking for more.
Sometimes she will pick food up and try and put it on her spoon herself.
You're not alone!

Postpartum hair loss

Let’s see it ladies.
You’ve got to laugh or you’ll cry, let’s be honest 🤣

Edit: this is what I caught in the shower and does not include anything that went down the plug, anything that stayed on my comb, anything still attached to my body when I got out or anything that was still in the bath when I was done āœŒļø.

Help!!!!

Someone please help me with some advice because I’m losing my absolute mind 😭
Baby is 5 months old, she has changed a lot in personality over the last month, more needy, sleep changes etc but have put it down to the 4 month regression and teething.
However, the problem that makes me want to literally cry is the car seat! She is totally inconsolable now every time she’s in the car. Why? And what can I do to help it?!

In the trenches 🫠

My baby is almost 4 months, she was always so happy and smiley but recently she SQUEALS!!! if she’s not squealing, she’s crying, no matter what we do.

When we pick her up, she wants to move every two seconds and stiffens up and screams at us to move her, in the car, play gym, in her swing chair.. it’s relentless!!!

Anybody else experienced this?? I’m worried (although I hope not!) that because I never let her ā€œself sootheā€ and responded to every sound she’s made that I may have spoiled her like people said and I laughed at?

Pic of my usually smiley girl so we don’t get lost 🩷

Who is in the same boat?

FTM to a 7 week old who has been incredibly chilled up to now bar problems with wind. From 6 weeks old he has been crying none stop and will only soothe with contact naps. I am unable to put him down and even on me he seems to wake up screaming crying for no apparent reason. He is absolutely fine at night but day times are a different story and he seems to go through a cry - feed - contact nap - cry- feed cycle until he goes down at night. I know this must be a phase but I am STRUGGLING. is anyone else going through the same thing?
