Hi everyone 🤍 I’m currently around 5 weeks pregnant and just looking for a bit of reassurance!
I’ve been having some mild cramping, quite similar to period cramps, which comes and goes. I don’t have any bleeding and it isn’t severe, but naturally I’m worrying about every little thing at the moment! 😂
I’ve submitted my maternity self-referral but I’m still waiting for it to be accepted, so I haven’t been able to speak to a midwife yet.
Did anyone else experience mild cramping around 4–6 weeks? Was everything okay with your pregnancy? 🤍
I’d love to hear your experiences! x

Yess! It’s that little bub implanting themselves 🥹 it’s all very normal I had the exact same thing. You maybe also experience some spotting which is also normal but of course if it’s anything your concerned about just contact your doctor/midwife x

Yes totally normal but make sure if it is unbearable like keeping you awake at night to get it checked out by your doctor because i went through this

I remember having cramps that felt very similar to period cramps! I was super nervous about it so I called my OB and out of caution they gave me an ultrasound right about 6 weeks. Everything was just fine!!
My sister is about 9 weeks pregnant and right around 4-5 weeks was also cramping and even spotting. She went in for an ultrasound and everything was also fine!!
I know it’s scary and hard not to analyze every symptom but you are probably fine!!
Contractions have been regular then seemed to taper off a bit. Screenshot from my app. Is this actually labour? Each contraction is very painful and im sort of trying to breathe through them but also sometimes having to moan. I'm shattered as I've not slept a wink so far tonight as its been ongoing on and off all evening/night. Should I call triage and ask to be seen? Don't want a wasted 40min journey 🙈

Waters broke at 36 plus 4, after 36 hours of labour, including the most intense contractions and pushing that I thought was impossible (you’ve got this ladies!) followed being cut open and stitched back up to get her out when she was stuck, my darling daughter Loretta was born at 5 pounds 5 🩷
Second time round and still the best feeling in the world, holding your newborn for the first time 🥹🥹🥹

Mums, has this ever happened to you?
My 9-week-old was being held upright and for a second I took my hand away from supporting his upper back/neck. He suddenly flopped backwards quite far and it really scared me. He seemed completely fine afterwards and has been acting normally.
I know babies this age still have wobbly head control, but has anyone else had a similar moment? I think I just need some reassurance 😭
