Baby is 6 days old. I am EBF and doing 2ish pumps on the side to help my supply. This is my bump from both sides after I feed him about a hour and a half after. I’m drinking 64 ish oz a day. How do I help my supply?
Also how do you know the difference between lethargic baby and just a sleepy baby? He falls asleep after every feed and sometimes I have to wake him up during the feed. Is that normal? I don’t want him to be so hungry that he gets lethargic and mistake it.
Thank you

How often is he nursing? And are you pumping right after you’re done nursing him? The lactation consultants told me newborns tend to fall asleep while nursing. To help with this you can undress him before, or kinda wiggle your boob while he’s latched, or even rub his forehead or his cheek to keep him awake.

Newborns are very easily tired out. This is very normal. They’re trying to transition from getting all of their nutrients through the placenta to needing to actively work at eating. So long as they’re still making 6+ wet diapers a day I wouldn’t worry about them being under fed. For your supply keep latching baby often. Your body will adjust to baby’s needs in time

There's nothing wrong with your supply honey, especially if this is after you've fed him.
Your pump doesn't necessarily take as much milk as your baby does. I have been EBF for 16 months and I still can't pump a lot of milk - some don't! Doesn't mean you don't have a good supply.
Try to wake baby up during feeds by tickling their feet, it takes a lot of work for them to feed and is very tiring. If he's hungry he'll be crying not sleeping so don't worry.
During this time your body is getting used to how much milk you should produce, he'll be cluster feeding soon to get your supply up to what it needs but if you feel your supply is low you can power pump 3x a day (pump 10 mins, rest 10 mins and repeat for 1hr)

Do not worry! This is something I used to panic over at first but then him falling asleep after a full feed just meant we got some snuggle time together! I used to pump once a day and the best time is in the morning! It's when your supply is the highest, even just that one pump created always having a bottle or two in the fridge for us. I felt like I always saw things about a stash but that honestly just wasn't attainable for me! I have a small one in the fridge and baby boy is about to be 5 months, don't be so hard on yourself, your baby will tell you body how much they need, don't believe social media!

You could maybe help output but getting your nipple size/flange size checked to make sure it’s the correct size.
I have a 10 week old baby who will only sleep when held day or night. It’s ruining my mental health.
I spend hours every day trapped under him in silence with white noise that gives me a headache because I’m so sleep deprived. I feel stiff and sore. I feel lonely, bored and frustrated. Every attempt at transfer just fails. I have tried every trick in the book short of buying a snoo. He absolutely hates the carrier. I feel like a terrible mother because I’m supposed to be enjoying the snuggles. But they feel forced. I’m trapped until he wakes up for a feed and change. Only then I have literally 5 minutes to quickly go toilet or eat something- do a small chore. I have no one who can help and take the pressure off me. Friends are too busy 😢 There is no village so there is nobody to help. Family live far and are dysfunctional af so I can’t even go to them😭😭 We co-sleep, which I hate. I feel terrified I’m going to wake up and find him passed out. I thought I’d break the cycle and never make my son feel like he was difficult to love. But 10 weeks in, I’ve already failed. He’s not choosing to give me a hard time. He’s a baby who doesn’t know how to sleep alone and needs my help, and I’m struggling to meet this need. He has reflux and possibly colic too now which is making me even more sad for him and depressed. I’m not looking for practical advice on how to get him sleeping on his own. Trust me, I have tried every practical advice i have found online so far. I’m looking to vent and for similar stories or for advice on how to cope with the isolation of this mentally, or any words of comfort.
Please I’m desperate.
There seems to be no end in sight.
I don’t know how to carry on like this.

First time mama to a 1 month old perfect boy!🩵
For the first 3 weeks of his life doctors ignored me about his symtoms and suspected CMPA (cows milk protein allergy) because im a "first time worried mum" It took for him to start pooping blood for them to listen!
5/6 days into him having his allergy milk, 8/10 of his symptoms have cleared up& i have a happier more content baby!🤍

Has anyone experienced constipation with their formula fed LO? Mine is 4 weeks old and formula fed and the last few days he’s really struggling to pass any stools, and is straining and crying when he tries. Today he hasn’t gone at all. I’ve tried infacol which hasn’t helped. Any tips or advice would be really helpful, it’s horrible seeing him in pain.

Hi mamas! My LO is 12 weeks old - How much time should we be leaving between the last nap of the day and bedtime?

My girl was in size 4s (Sainsbury’s) but they weren’t holding anywhere near enough - but we’re still having loads of poo explosions with the size 5s (Tescos). What trick am I missing here?! 😅💩😭😱
