PCOS and IVF

Anyone around 32 years old with PCOS and do IVF? Just decided to proceed with doing IVF and my doctor recommends a frozen transfer since I have PCOS and at an increased risk for OHSS. Anyone have any advice or success stories for me?!

I did it at 38 so a fair bit later but we had several rounds so some of this might be helpful.
My pcos is mainly insulin resitant and thyroid based, not so much ovarian volume so I don’t think I was at too high of a risk of ohhs in particular but you never know how you respond. However fresh transfers didn’t work for us at all. I feel sensitive to hormones because of the pcos and I felt very inflamed after the stimulation part, so I didn’t feel receptive to the fresh transfers at all. Frozen did however work and my daughter is 10 weeks old :)
As pcos tends to be an inflammation based condition plus I also have a history of autoimmune conditions, we added intralipid infusions a few days before transfer and after positive test.
Because of the metabolic factor in pcos, the main thing for stims to get good embryos is to try and keep your sugars balanced so inositol, metformin if you can and lifestyle. I’d do 3 months of prep with lifestyle and supplements for both of you.

I also have insulin resistance form of pcos so metformin as well as other anti inflammatory supplements (baby aspirin, magnesium, inositol) really helped. We had 2 failed IVF cycles prior to starting metformin and currently 8 weeks pregnant at age 36 after starting.
I’ve only done fresh embryo transfers for this and my prior successful IVF pregnancy due to having only 1 blast from the egg retrievals. I would trust your doctor but know that the plan may change depending on how you respond to stims

9dpo- could this be positive?

I think I’m 9dpo. This photo was taken within the 5 minute window but thinking it could be an evap? The test didn’t get wet but I’m not sure :/. In person the line is pink but in the photo it looks colourless

I’ve used these tests before and never had this happen. I feel like I’m going crazy looking at it.

Positive ?

So my period is supposed to come today and hasn’t yet and I’m paranoid so I took a test and when I first took it , it showed one line then my fiancé looked at it like 2 hours later and saw this small line but it’s only under it so like I don’t know what to think 🤣
I also just got off the IUD and my body is all over the place right now
I have a 8 month old and a 2 year old like I am really hoping it’s just the dye from sitting ☠️
But what do ya’ll think?????
