Hey girls abit of a personal question but I use to be on the pill from when I was 18 and stopped when I was around 28, I really don’t want to go back on it and struggling to know what the best contraception to use, I would love to know what your thoughts are on it and what you are using for protection?

I’ve had the copper IUD put recently as I didn’t want anything with hormones again and so far so good! Got my first period on it as well and it’s really not bad
I’m having the copper IUD put in 8 weeks. I’m on the pill for now which I didn’t really want to do because I didn’t want to mess with my hormones but I’d rather be safe ☺️ xx
Condoms till he gets a vasectomy, safer this way as iud has side effects too and off the pill for 10 years as it was clotting my blood
I just track my cycle using my temperature, will start using ovulation sticks as well to be extra sure when I ovulate

I cannot believe I am actually having to spell this out in black and white to the mother in law. It’s making me cringe😆
Given them the benefit of the doubt multiple times. I’m fed up with Having to sit there and watch things happen and wanting to cry. Avoiding visits/meet ups, just for it to happen again the next time.
And you know what her response was “oh this is all new, we always kissed babies none of this was a thing. I didn’t know he was ill, I’ll
tell him to let me know next time”.
That’s a straight up lie. She knew & she let him keep touching her hands and letting her put them back in her mouth (after he’s just been coughing in his hands). (Baby is a newborn can I add)
I’ve never even been close with this woman, I met her 1-2 times before I fell pregnant. Then when I was pregnant she never once asked to see me. I only saw her once because I invited her to the baby shower. Now that baby’s here , suddenly she wants to see her every day.
I know times are different but even my own parents & grandparents have said this is all common sense/respect for a young baby.

my husband needs friends
is there an app or some kind of community where i can help my husband find present fathers with similar interests to be friends with. i’ve looked around and nothing has helped and i think it’s important for him to find people with similar interests and morals when it comes to fatherhood; im in the military and located in virginia beach for reference. please help!
