Hey. I’m currently 7 weeks 3 days pregnant and I have had 2 scans showing a heartbeat and a progressing heartbeat, I had the first one at 6 weeks 1 day heartbeat was 109bpm and then at 7 weeks 1 day was 145-150bpm. Although this has reassured me slightly, I am so anxious constantly that I am going to have a missed miscarriage and will lose the baby and turn up to a scan and babies heartbeat will have stopped. I have been googling and I know that there is no guarantee of what will happen and technically there is no “safe space” in pregnancy but I have read that once there is a heartbeat the statistics do drop and each week they drop more. However I am still constantly so anxious and waiting for something bad to happen. Trying to tell myself that a “gut feeling” something bad will happen may just be anxiety! I think I’m more scared due to hearing all the stories of missed miscarriages which are worrying me. I have had bad cramps since I found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks 6 days, but the pregnancy has still been progressing and despite being checked everything has been okay, no signs of concerns. I’m just wondering if anyone can give me some words of encouragement, reassurance or advice! Thank you so much 🤍

I totally get the anxiety you're feeling and it's something I've been experiencing too. One my friends who is due really soon, said something that really stuck - "you're pregnant until someone tells you you're not". Try and stay positive ❤️

I completely understand your anxiety. If stories about missed miscarriages are contributing to your worries, is it worth staying off social media or blocking certain accounts/topics whilst you're feeling vulnerable? It might also be worth speaking to the GP if your mental health is suffering.

The time will pass anyway so if you can try to spend it chatting to baby and working on giving him out her the best home to grow in. Try doing things that bring you peace like a nice walk or time doing an activity with friends. You are in the strongest position you can possibly be for now and you can’t ask for more than that. 🫶🏼
Anyone else in the “I’m gonna whinge and scream from the second I wake to the second I go to bed and nothing will make me stop” phase? 🥲🥲🥲 it’s been non stop since 6 am I’m going insane.. been like this about a week 😭

Is it completely normal not to have a baby bump at 14-15 weeks pregnant? 😅x

This is a rant...Why are parties such a hard thing to throw now-a-days? We are throwing my 3 year old a birthday party on Saturday and it just seems like no one can make it or those who said they would all of a sudden cancel last second...I feel so defeated throwing birthday parties...I absolutely love throwing birthday parties and seeing my kids faces during it...but knowing every year that more and more people probably won't show up just feels sucky...idk..does anyone else feel like this when throwing parties? It just sucks to not have friends her age and to not have many friends ourselves..

Hi lovely mommas! I live with Pots syndrome with fatigue being one of the main symptoms, I am 5 weeks pregnant and it’s absolutely wiping me out; I work from home and live alone which makes it quite difficult mentally, I was wondering if anyone has any words of encouragement ❤️

Hi,
Think I will be around 7W5D for my early scan. Anyone had successful images via an external scan at this point?
Was hoping to have external if I can!
