Hi lovely mommas! I live with Pots syndrome with fatigue being one of the main symptoms, I am 5 weeks pregnant and it’s absolutely wiping me out; I work from home and live alone which makes it quite difficult mentally, I was wondering if anyone has any words of encouragement ❤️

You popped up on my feed, I have HSD and fatigue can sometimes be really bad. I have a 5 year old and an 11 month old, and I can tell you pregnancy tired is something else! It completely floored me second time around, just prioritise rest as much as you possibly can. Take all the short cuts, keep your sugar levels under control and just know it’s normal to feel so wiped at this stage. You’ve got this 🫶

Hey I have hsd and pots. I wish I could tell you it gets easier but i can’t. The fatigue floored me also in pregnancy and I had to go sick from work for last 3 months although I do have a job where I was stood up a lot. My biggest recommendation to help would be electrolyte drinks (be careful to get ones without caffiene) I liked the vimto ones and would have 1-2 a day. I did find the pots and fatigue eased up a bit mid way through 2nd trimester.
I am breast feeding and I wish I didn’t as that’s made it pretty bad also but I feel I’m now stuck doing it.
You got this mama and if you ever want to reach out to vent about pots please feel free to message me x

Oh and try and eat lots of protein x

I can’t help in terms of what helps unfortunately as I’m 4 weeks but I’m in the same boat as you, I’ve been quite symptomatic and absolutely floored in terms of fatigue. I’ve been trying to prioritise electrolyte drinks and the Liquid IV brand seems to be working for me at the minute. And just trying to allow myself to rest whenever I get a minute! Hope everything goes well for you xx
Anyone else in the “I’m gonna whinge and scream from the second I wake to the second I go to bed and nothing will make me stop” phase? 🥲🥲🥲 it’s been non stop since 6 am I’m going insane.. been like this about a week 😭

Is it completely normal not to have a baby bump at 14-15 weeks pregnant? 😅x

This is a rant...Why are parties such a hard thing to throw now-a-days? We are throwing my 3 year old a birthday party on Saturday and it just seems like no one can make it or those who said they would all of a sudden cancel last second...I feel so defeated throwing birthday parties...I absolutely love throwing birthday parties and seeing my kids faces during it...but knowing every year that more and more people probably won't show up just feels sucky...idk..does anyone else feel like this when throwing parties? It just sucks to not have friends her age and to not have many friends ourselves..

Hey. I’m currently 7 weeks 3 days pregnant and I have had 2 scans showing a heartbeat and a progressing heartbeat, I had the first one at 6 weeks 1 day heartbeat was 109bpm and then at 7 weeks 1 day was 145-150bpm. Although this has reassured me slightly, I am so anxious constantly that I am going to have a missed miscarriage and will lose the baby and turn up to a scan and babies heartbeat will have stopped. I have been googling and I know that there is no guarantee of what will happen and technically there is no “safe space” in pregnancy but I have read that once there is a heartbeat the statistics do drop and each week they drop more. However I am still constantly so anxious and waiting for something bad to happen. Trying to tell myself that a “gut feeling” something bad will happen may just be anxiety! I think I’m more scared due to hearing all the stories of missed miscarriages which are worrying me. I have had bad cramps since I found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks 6 days, but the pregnancy has still been progressing and despite being checked everything has been okay, no signs of concerns. I’m just wondering if anyone can give me some words of encouragement, reassurance or advice! Thank you so much 🤍

Hi,
Think I will be around 7W5D for my early scan. Anyone had successful images via an external scan at this point?
Was hoping to have external if I can!
