Mirena (Birth control)

Is anyone else using Mirena has a birth control option after having a baby. Since I got it inserted I’ve been bleeding nonstop. I got it done in June 2026 and it’s now October and I’m still bleeding. There are days where it’s much lighter but then picks back up. Please let me know I’m Jo the only one.

I had mirena for almost 8 years and never experienced any long term bleeding. Have you spoken to your gynecologist?

Birth control everyone differently. So people don’t get a period at all while others spot or have continuous bleeding. I heard of ladies getting prescribed progesterone at it helps lighten your periods.

I got my mirena at 5mo pp and it’s made my period last 2 weeks but the bleeding is so light i only have to wear a panty liner and almost have no period at 9mo pp. I’m sorry you’re bleeding so much how uncomfy. Hopefully soon it’ll stop.

Lonely

I recently left my partner of 4 years, I don't know whats wrong with me, i haven't cried or anything, but i feel so lonely, I just cannot get passed this feeling, I have had friends over but once they go, its back to being lonely again. Has anyone had this before ? What do i do?

Hey everyone I’m McKenna my son was born in July. He is my first baby and I love being his mommy but I’m also kind of lonely. It was like once I had my baby people got excited for about 2 weeks then fell off the face of the planet. So I’m looking to connect with other moms who are in a similar boat to me. I feel so annoying cause very conversation I’ve had on here so far is small talk with no emotion. All I get is haha and :) and it’s so awkward for me. I’m suffering keeping these conversations going LOL 😫

Looking for some mom friends! Don’t get me wrong I love my kids and love being with them but sometimes I need some girl time! I’m in the southeastern Idaho so I’m looking for some besties in that area to just connect and chill with. I am LDS but you don’t have to be LDS to be my friend.😊
