I had my LO have a nursing strike at 8 weeks for four days but it was complete refusal I had to use formula. I would offer the breast at every feed but was told to not push it in case it created a negative association. She literally woke up one day refusing one side and by end of the day refusing both. She then woke up on the fourth day and was back to nursing. Was told it can be developmental or behavioural

This hasn't quite happened to me, but she gets too excited and start searching really hard for the nipple even though it's already in her mouth. I latch her on properly only for her to move and lose it again. It's been a struggle I've tried different positions for her and so far lying vertical helps my chances. But I breastpump for the most part as she was losing weight early and she just struggles to feed from my breasts.

I’ve got loads of breastmilk in the freezer if you’d prefer to give breast milk instead of formula if they refuse again? X

I’m at this exact stage too with my 15 week old. I need to pull him away and let him reset and stop crying and just have to keep trying again until he’ll drink. My right side had a very strong let down so I understand why he gets upset on that side. Sometimes I’ll just nurse on the left and put a haaka on the right and then use that milk in a bottle for him

Baby doll

Anyone get their son a baby doll? Did they love it?
Thinking of getting mine one for christmas as he's gravitated towards one a couple of times at a toddler group. For context my son will be 18 months, nearly 19 months at Christmas.

Refusing nap at age2 help!

My little one is 2y 2m old. She has just all of a sudden stopped napping. Nursery told me they spend half hour with her and she won't sleep and same at home. I'm really worried nursery will stop trying. But she just will not settle down at all all of a sudden. Help please. It's way too early for her to drop the nap!

CMPA? (Photo)

My baby is really congested overnight. She’s always congested - but particularly more snorty after a bottle of Kendamil. She’s primarily breast fed with one bottle of formula a day in the afternoon. Her poops are also explosive and look like this. Does this look like CMPA, so sorry for the photo! Two first poops from two different mornings. Will add the second to the comments.

Travelling with a 1 year old

Can I put a car seat in the front passenger seat for travelling with my baby?! He hates the car and just cries if he’s in the back by himself. I have family 4 hours drive away and I have to do the travel alone most of the time. It’s so stressful and exhausting trying to entertain him and I can’t just let him cry. How do you travel with a baby who hates the car? 😩

Sleepless nights due baby nonstop crying on and off for over 2/3 hours

I’m literally at breaking point, with my baby, his 3 week old and there’s some nights where he will do a screaming party in the early hours of the morning and it’s nonstop crying and I feel like a awful mum for it, I try everything to settle him and he not having none of it, and when I got my son checked at hospital because I was so worried they said he was healthy which is good news that he healthy just feel deflated and hopeless mum, and it’s destroying my mental health, at the minute.
I don’t remember my oldest boy being anything like this, I remember doing feeds and he’d stay up but not the screaming constantly.
