Identity crisis

When do you start feeling like yourself again,my baby is 8 weeks old and i love him so much but i keep missing my old life so much, when does this become enjoyable?

It becomes enjoyable when you figure out how to reconcile your old identifiers with this new one, being a mom. Learn to love your motherhood for its own sake first imo, rather than trying to cram your “true self” into your mom-era box.

You may need to grieve a bit, and that’s fine. A caterpillar might miss crawling and also embrace its newfound beauty and learn to fly ❤️

But 8m is still so early I feel like! Physically and emotionally speaking for me it’s always around 12-14m that I feel a bit more independent. Thats when kids become little buddies rather than babies that need your constant attention!

As a 12 week pp mom. I am still thuggin it out. I am a breast feeding mom though so not sure if that matters? I know plenty of formula feeding moms who at this point are like yay this is great my baby still doesn’t do all nighters. He occasionally does a 4-5 hour stretch. That is about it.

Sex drive Vent

I am 10m pp and I hadn’t had any sex drive until now. I NEEEEEEED it.

I have one person I really think about but our schedules never align. We drove to me one time while I was baby free and we kissed and I swearrrrr, I almost jumped in his lap.

I don’t wanna seem desperate but lowkey I am for him though.

We talk here and there. I let him know my baby free times and left it up to him to lmk when he is free because his work schedule is crazy and I’m not always baby free but I often find myself hoping he will message me. He has messaged me a couple times to see what I’m doing so he could come and pick me up but it’s usually at awkward hours.

All I can think about it when we used to sleep together and how good it was 😭😭😭

I would be open to meeting other men but I don’t really know how.

Idk I just want a wild sexyyy night.
