Does anyone else feel completely exhausted after literally walking for 5 min? I used to walk loads, and now even when I slow down I don’t have enough energy to walk more. I had all these plans to keep exercising throughout my pregnancy but it doesn’t seem possible atm. Maybe that gets better later? For context, I’m 6 weeks pregnant.

First trimester is rough. I have no other way to put it. You're sick and tired and everything is lousy. Second trimester is fabulous and third trimester things start to get uncomfortable again 🤣
Worth remembering your resting metabolic rate is heightened at the moment, so do what you can exercise wise but don't be mean to yourself if you just want to sleep 🩷

Yesss!🙋♀️ I literally feel exhausted pretty much 24/7 of the time. Struggling a lot at work as I'm pretty much on my feet all the time. I've always been an active person and never struggled with exercise. I assume it's just normal and our bodies are just working double time to create life x
My november baby came on 29th September via csection due to placenta issues.
She was born at 10:36am weighing 6lbs3oz and she is absolutely perfect 🥹🩷

I keep seeing posts/tiktoks/instagram reels saying late November babies are being born early like now early and for the last few days my braxton hicks have been terrible. I think I’m also leaking my mucus plug but not sure.

First ever pregnancy the baby was too big, this pregnancy the baby is too small
Last time I got induced and did labour til we reached 10 centimetres but the baby just didn't want to come out,
(at 42 weeks I might add)
so after pushing for so long and 2 doctors later
Emergency C-section it was... On the 25th of May 2025
This time I am hoping for a vbac but they want to induce me at 38weeks this weekend
(so 17 month difference)
because the baby seems to be growing smaller than usual, placenta blah blah blah
Hopefully I can push this baby out or am I being delusional? Lol any thoughts are welcome, I'm based in UK, London

Hey I’m 26 weeks pregnant with my first baby and have been going to the Royal Women’s for my appointments so far, but I have moved recently and now Sandringham is my closest hospital (only a 10 minute drive vs a 30 minute drive to the Women’s). I’m in two minds whether to transfer or not. I have a low risk pregnancy as it stands, but I just want to go to the hospital that will be the best and the best experience. My logic was Royal women may have more competent / skilled staff and can support in any scenario to keep going there. But I’ve also been given advice that Sandringham might be a calmer, more relaxed (less cattle-like) experience of a big hospital and potentially less people in a room post birth. I know being relaxed is so important to a birth experience and perhaps the shorter journey could make a big difference. I would love to hear from mothers who birthed at either regarding their experience (I also hear Sandringham recently switched management so not sure how that’s going). Also any tips on how important the 10 min vs 30 minute drive drive will be when it comes to the big day!
