I have an 8 year old and 4 year old and I’m just wondering do we ever get to go to the bathroom alone or have privacy while in the bathroom ever again?? My kids will not say 5 words to me until I’m sitting on the toilet then they wanna ask a million questions and they are hungry and they need this or want that. I know I can’t be the only one

No never just accept it 🤣 mine always need a poo as soon as I get in the bath...... everytime x

I tell them I’m going potty then they leave or I’ll lock the door if I don’t want them coming in when I’m like pooping or something. But if it’s just pre they may or may not come. I’m pregnant with my third so they know I got to pee all the time

Tell them you need privacy. Unless it’s an emergency, they can wait. Be firm and consistent!

I announce I'm going to the toilet and now he's nearly 6 he does leave me alone but he will still come in sometimes if he has "something really important" (it's never important....)
He'd never do this with his dad!!

I have no privacy anywhere in my house. Cant close my room door, cant eat alone, cant be in the bathroom alone. Cant do anything

They are spoiled

Idk about spoiled...? Spoiled with attention and love, isn't spoiled.
My kiddos are 6 & almost 4, and they've always loved being in the bathroom when I'm in there! I look at it as "Mom's the party, and the parties in here now" lol But I have been teaching them about privacy, and my oldest understands knocking and being patient (usually). My little dude still barges in, especially when he's tired, but he's learning to knock. I don't know if you experience this, but since teaching them privacy, they don't want me near the bathroom when their using it lol they LOVE their poop space 😂 I'm hoping it'll click one day that mommy does too.

Oh yes, the ol' "But mom it's really important!" 🤣🤣 I love watching them get creative, just to get in the bathroom where I'm pooping 🙃
Kids are so smart, always keeping us on our toes! Got to love it 😂 But yeah, I think by the time our youngest kiddos are around 6/7, we'll probably starting having some peace girl 👏
Hi! I can’t stand the weird smell of any of the blue non bio washing stuff. Is there anything else that can be used for washing newborn? Something that smells a bit better 😬

Hi
I need to stop dream feeding my baby at night when he wakes up. How do you do this or transition? He is mainly breastfed but I’ve started to give a bottle on the night on the last feed before he sleeps

Anyone else a c section, co sleeping, breastfeeding mama and your body is just in bits? I don’t know if my bed is just uncomfortable postpartum or if it’s my body and cosleeping/breastfeeding positions. I feel like stretching helps a little but my hips and lower back especially are awful, but generally I just feel so achy and uncomfortable most of the time. Is it just me?

Anyone have a car seat where your toddlers head doesn’t fall forward when they fall asleep??

I'm curious...when your baby wakes overnight, what is it waking them up? Is it hunger or something else? My little boy (breastfed) only wakes for two nights feeds (which is great!) but wakes himself up after wriggling/flapping about in his sleep every 1.5/2 hours too 😬
