HFM???

Does this look like HFM please? It seems to be everywhere. Hasn’t had anything different to eat, or drink. Never seen it everywhere before! More pics in comments

The spots on the hands and feet, yes. The smaller arm spots look almost like an allergic reaction but could just be his response to the HFM.

My baby’s eczema started off looking exactly like that then got worse and turned into small scabs and more spots but i may be wrong, I checked with gp and got given a cream x

I don't really know why they call it hand foot and mouth as those definitely aren't the only places if affects 😅
The bumps on the hands and feet are a strong sign that's what it could be, are you able to check inside baby's mouth for ulcers?
When my boys had it their legs and bum were covered too, arms not so much.

We had a doctors appt yesterday and they confirmed HFM. The rash on arms and legs are a viral infection from it!

No ulcers in his mouth luckily 🤞🏼

Not sure where to share

I'm for sure proud, but I don't know where or how to post this, because I never want someone to feel anything less than wonderful in regards to their child(ren).

So.. my son learned his numbers 0-12 over a couple months when he was 1 and a half, because he's ALWAYS wanting to learn about everything. He knows all of his colors, numbers up to 25, can recognize and name emotions in books and people, and knows/recognizes 15 of the letters in the alphabet. He just turned 2 and a half a few days ago.

A couple weeks ago, we're drawing, having fun, and he goes, "Eight!" And happily points to the board where he was drawing (you can see some scribbles here, too lol). I look, and see he drew the number 8. Intentionally.

Now, his dad is in MENSA, but I really am shocked, because he "shouldn't be able to do this yet". 😂

Anyone else with a child like this? I want to ensure I continue to challenge him, and have joked about making weekly lesson plans for him. I have stayed at home with him since birth.

Thanks!!

Baby cuddles

Anyone else’s baby completely bury their heads wherever they can?

Is she okay like this. Worry she’ll start struggling to breathe. But if I move her she just makes her way back there.

Jabs question??

LO had their jabs at 9.30am this morning. She has literally not been awake AT all since and its now 2pm. Only for a quick bottle 2hrs ago but her eyes didnt even open
I'm worried she will NEVER sleep at all tonight should she sleep all day
Ive tried to put her down and she does a really horrid cry as soon as she leaves my arms, which is not like her
Is this normal? Sleep all day? Did your babies do this and still sleep at night or not? Just wondering if to prepare to be awake all niggt!

Gaviscon

Anyone that’s breast feeds given Gaviscon to their newborn?

I mixed it with 5ml of cold boiled water and then another 10ml as it says on the box but it looks very watery? I’ve tried twice now and ended up looking the same so I’ve just given it her as I’ve followed instructions to a T.

I’m just second guessing myself now 😩 video for reference

Swaddle or sleeping sack

I'm really struggling to decide whether to swaddle my babygirl or to use sleeping sacks. I'm 26 weeks so have plenty of time but want to be prepared
