Anyone that’s breast feeds given Gaviscon to their newborn?
I mixed it with 5ml of cold boiled water and then another 10ml as it says on the box but it looks very watery? I’ve tried twice now and ended up looking the same so I’ve just given it her as I’ve followed instructions to a T.
I’m just second guessing myself now 😩 video for reference

This is how we gave it too, seems like a lot of non-milk liquid for them but definitely what the GP told us to do as well! Also found shaking it into a bottle of milk worked well so that’s an option if you’re expressing

Hey! I give mine with breast milk instead! I just hand express about 10ml into a bottle lid and stir the gaviscon then administer with a 1ml syringe (these work nicely because they come out slowly and he seems to drink it well ☺️

You don't need to add the extra 10ml ... It's optional ... My boy just started it yesterday but my older boy was also on it when he was this age
My baby boy is 4 months old almost 5 and is formula fed. He has been pooping green for months now and my nurse practitioner didn’t have anything to say about it.. is this normal? He doesn’t complain and is a healthy boy!

After making it this far without giving a dummy, I'm finally caving (no judgement or questions please, just personal preference). Over the last month, my girl has started sucking on 2 fingers constantly to soothe herself and she's making them red raw. 2 people have told me recently that they think she cries more than the average baby and that breaks my heart thinking she's unhappy. So hence the decision to give a dummy... but i have a few random questions. Does your baby have access to a dummy all of the time, or just when you want them to start settling down? Do you find you're constantly waking in the night to put it back in before mouth if it falls out? I don't really want her to constantly have it in her mouth, ideally just to help soothe herself for naps and sleep. I understand there's a risk she might not accept a dummy this far along but with how much she loves sucking things, I think she will. I'm also however worried about creating yet another sleep association with it, as I am already pretty guilty of feeding to sleep

For mums who have been through this before, what did you do with your little one’s bedtime & morning wake up routine / timings when the clocks go back in October? I’ve got a 5 month old and looking for advice on how should I mange the change with her.

The only way my husband can get our 5 day old baby boy to sleep is to have him in arms being rocked or in this swing. He says he and his ex let my SD sleep in her swing for months because she needed the incline for reflux.
Google says baby should not be in the swing for more than an hour a day. But Google also says no cosleeping and I feel like swing or cosleeping might be the only ways to ever sleep.
My husband is wonderful and is taking 8pm-2am and we're barely home and already exhausted. Is this OK?

Hi mummas!
FTM here. What laundry detergent should I use? Can I buy own brand (Aldi) or is it better to go with branded (fairy)?
Do you use fabric conditioner, or just laundry detergent?
Thank you!
