Transitioning to cows milk

Hey everyone

My little girl has just turned one and she is currently having 2 bottles of formula - 1 when she wakes up and 1 just before bed. We are looking at transitioning to cows milk.

I have tried to offer her cows milk straight out of her 360 cup however she has refused. This morning I mixed a bit of cows milk with her formula, she refused out of 360 cup but drank it out of her usual mam bottle.

Just looking for advice on how to drop the bottle completely and have her drinking cows milk out of her 360 bottle.

Thank you!🤍

My little boy is doing the same thing 🙈 he tried it the first day and now pushes it away

You don't need to transition her to cows milk, you can just stop with formula and offer yoghurt and cheese instead if that works to help them with calcium xx

My little girl is exa tly the same. We are just gradually mixing more cows milk to formula and once taking full cows milk pretty well will offer it from her straw cup again. Not sure if it will work or not. If not we will try and drop the bottles I think

We tried using a cup - total refusal. So focusing on a slow transition to cows milk in her bottle first then worry about getting rid of that after.

Stool

My baby boy is 4 months old almost 5 and is formula fed. He has been pooping green for months now and my nurse practitioner didn’t have anything to say about it.. is this normal? He doesn’t complain and is a healthy boy!

For mums who have been through this before, what did you do with your little one’s bedtime & morning wake up routine / timings when the clocks go back in October? I’ve got a 5 month old and looking for advice on how should I mange the change with her.

Baby clothes washing 🫧

Hi mummas!

FTM here. What laundry detergent should I use? Can I buy own brand (Aldi) or is it better to go with branded (fairy)?

Do you use fabric conditioner, or just laundry detergent?

Thank you!

Sleeping in Swing

The only way my husband can get our 5 day old baby boy to sleep is to have him in arms being rocked or in this swing. He says he and his ex let my SD sleep in her swing for months because she needed the incline for reflux.

Google says baby should not be in the swing for more than an hour a day. But Google also says no cosleeping and I feel like swing or cosleeping might be the only ways to ever sleep.

My husband is wonderful and is taking 8pm-2am and we're barely home and already exhausted. Is this OK?

Not sure where to share

I'm for sure proud, but I don't know where or how to post this, because I never want someone to feel anything less than wonderful in regards to their child(ren).

So.. my son learned his numbers 0-12 over a couple months when he was 1 and a half, because he's ALWAYS wanting to learn about everything. He knows all of his colors, numbers up to 25, can recognize and name emotions in books and people, and knows/recognizes 15 of the letters in the alphabet. He just turned 2 and a half a few days ago.

A couple weeks ago, we're drawing, having fun, and he goes, "Eight!" And happily points to the board where he was drawing (you can see some scribbles here, too lol). I look, and see he drew the number 8. Intentionally.

Now, his dad is in MENSA, but I really am shocked, because he "shouldn't be able to do this yet". 😂

Anyone else with a child like this? I want to ensure I continue to challenge him, and have joked about making weekly lesson plans for him. I have stayed at home with him since birth.

Thanks!!

Jabs question??

LO had their jabs at 9.30am this morning. She has literally not been awake AT all since and its now 2pm. Only for a quick bottle 2hrs ago but her eyes didnt even open
I'm worried she will NEVER sleep at all tonight should she sleep all day
Ive tried to put her down and she does a really horrid cry as soon as she leaves my arms, which is not like her
Is this normal? Sleep all day? Did your babies do this and still sleep at night or not? Just wondering if to prepare to be awake all niggt!
