Early Gender Blood Test

Has anyone done an early gender blood test and was it accurate? Thinking of doing but not sure if there is any point to it.

Both my pregnancies have been accurate. One done at 8 and one at 10 weeks x

As long as you do it correctly its accurate.

You will need to ensure no male is near you when you do it. Deep clean the area you do it in to ensure no cross contamination happens. At around 8 weeks babies blood mixes with yours. The test is looking to see if you have a y chromosome in your blood or not. So unless you have a rare genetic condition where your xxy for example you shouldn't have y in your blood. But contamination from your partner can give a false boy result.

Glucose challenge test today

Good morning! Glucose challenge test today for gestational diabetes at 27 weeks + 6. On the cusp of my third trimester!!!! I ate two eggs and a cup of black coffee for breakfast. The instructions said eat breakfast 2 hours in advance, higher protein, no sugar to keep the test accurate. Hopefully that's not too much and not too little.

Fetal Macrosomia

I am 34 weeks as of this post. About to be 35 on Saturday. I get weekly ultrasound checks to monitor baby’s size because she is measuring in the 99th percentile. At my 34th week ultrasound appointment she was 7 and a half pounds… that is a whole pound and a half more than my 32nd week growth scan… due to my history with gestational hypertension I will be induced at 37 weeks (first week of November) and I am honestly so nervous about her being 9lbs maybe more, maybe less because I tore so bad with my son who was 7lbs 6.5oz… what can I do to prepare my brain and my body for a potentially traumatizing birth experience? Anyone else have a big baby and do well?

I haven’t posted in a while

23w this Sunday and baby emotions are very high. Being high risk, every week going to the doctors for heart monitoring checks has been an up and down feeling. This has been one for the books for sure.
I’ve been feeling baby more and more 4 mnths left and god willing I’ll be meeting my baby girl 🥲🩷
