Is it safe to have sex?
This might sound really silly and I’ve been all over google/chat gpt but thought the best place for reassurance would be here..! So I am 40+2 just now and I had a sweep on Thursday. I was 3cm dilated and the midwife said she felt the baby’s head. I have since lost my show and had some pains but still no waters broken. Am I safe to have sex??? I wasn’t told not to, but I can’t get my head around (from google and chat GPT) that the baby’s head wont get hit? 🤣🤣 since the midwife was able to feel it with just her fingers?? I just don’t want to give my baby a sore head lol

😂 yes you can as long as your waters haven’t gone it’s fine. I’ve had two sweeps but only 1cm dilated and my midwife told us to do it to bring labour on 🤣 x
